“Had time to kill while in SF. Hadn't been to Pier 39 for many years so we decided to check it out. There were many new stores to browse through including my favorite a year round Christmas on the pier. The end is now full of games and things for kids to do. Still many candy stores and an Artly Coffee that has robots that made my latte. That was a first. Enjoyed sitting and watching the seals and birds playing for a while.”
“Venue Staff and Security were all exceptionally kind and helpful. I lost a sentimental item during an event, and everyone on the Staff/Security team went above and beyond to help get me where I needed to go in order to see if it had been turned in. The genuine compassion that I received from one of the Security guards (who's name I unfortunately did not get) when I learned that my item had not been turned in will sit with me as a positive example of the way that someone would hope to be treated in a situation like that.
Additionally, the convention center itself was clean and very interesting architecturally. I was only at the event for a day, but would love to get a chance to go to another event here in the future to experience such a unique venue again.”
“A solid shopping center with easy parking.
Very good Trader Joe's, with very helpful staff as always. Mediocre but large Lucky's, with mediocre prices (produce in particular) and selection. CVS is better than in Berkeley, but surprisingly limited shelf availability. Maybe a sign of the times. A few specialized stores.”
“We had so much fun at Pier 39, the weather was perfect! Our Goldendoodle puppy saw the barking sea lions for the first time and they barked back and forth lol! We even took him inside a photo booth, while they didn't turn out perfectly lol, we now have memories to cherish! The shops and restaurants are endless, I purchased a couple things from Aleenk Technologies and we had lunch at Pier Market restaurant! I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Pier 39, for breathtaking views and unique businesses! We parked on the 3rd floor at Pier 39 Parking Garage and it led straight to the Pedestrian Bridge Walkway, the access to Pier 39 shops and restaurants! We are looking forward to returning to check out The Flyer when I'm no longer pregnant! Maybe we'll even add a love lock to the Pier! ;-) SYOY!”
“A great busy Shopping Center with a variety of stores to choose from both for shopping and eating. Lots and lots of free parking. And a safe atmosphere right along the beach complete with a walking/biking trail. The center used to host an Off the Grid food truck event every saturday which was always a family favorite. But apparently one of the shopping vendors complained and it's no longer there, which is a big disappointment - so minus one star for that.”
“Great as always. I love the gluten free salami and peppers pizza ($3 more for gluten free) and salad getting a Mama Mía. I especially love the salami, although I'd prefer less (if my choice there would be no) black pepper on the salami.”
“Visited this area during a short trip and enjoyed the beautiful views and atmosphere. We arrived before 5pm and found that many restaurants were still closed, so it’s better to visit later in the evening if you want food and more activity. Overall, a nice place to walk around and relax.”
“They have everything you never k ew you needed or wanted to try. So fun. Wake up your mealtime trying something new. Get the staples and an experiment in the same cart!”
“There are a lot of businesses in the Plaza. You can grocery shop, check on or cancel your AT&T phone service if you have them. Get something for your vehicle, grab a bite to eat, etc... large parking lot. Convenient!”
“The area has quite a few businesses, including Starbucks, a gas station, with a car wash. Raley’s Nob Hill, grocery store, UPS, Round Table Pizza, Baskin Robbins, Wingstop, Pet Food Express, a tiny medical clinic and a few other shops. And some great Asian restaurants. Parking can be crowded, and the spots are pretty tight. And sometimes people drive a little too fast in such a small parking lot. So proceed with caution.”
“Great. I went to LA Vals pizza and had the most delicious oven baked lasagna with 2 pieces of garlic bread and one glass of bay area crafted beer it was off the hook ?. Every one you have to check this hidden gem out.”
“Love going to the FoodCo in the center. The prices are really good. Actually better than Walmart on alot of things. We take my Mother in law here. The produce selection is very larg so if you're looking for something special I'm sure you will find it here. Very clean store and helpful sales staff. I will definitely shop here again.”

“The transformation of UN Plaza is truly remarkable. The city has successfully cleared out the 'thieves market' and pervasive drug activity that once dominated the area. Most surprising has been the role of the skateboarding community; while they were once unfairly blamed for urban blight, their active presence has been the plaza's saving grace, keeping it vibrant and discouraging illegal behavior. The street ambassadors from Urban Alchemy have certainly played a part in this cleanup, though their impact has been a mixed bag at times. Still, I never thought I’d see this place so revitalized—it’s a massive improvement.”
“It's a beautiful Plaza with a lot of shops and places to eat. Unfortunately, I was not feeling well enough to go in to browse. I plan to come back with my daughter in the near future.”

The IMAX is amazing and quite often sold out for big blockbusters. And the Dolby theater is my favorite. Such amazing sound!”
“I didn't go to the mall. I went to food Max, and I took a visit to the bakery where they had exceptional staff. It was one lady who took exceptional care of every customer that came in. She made sure everybody was happy.
And for that reason, I will always go there for my baked. Goods?
I believe the ladies' name was Adrian she was so professional.
I was truly thankful for my decision to go back there. I hope she 1 day has her own bakery. She truly cared about the product, and the way everything looked, you don't really get that. When you go into stores, everything is a fast pace. But she took the time to help everyone that I saw
And made them happy. They need to make sure that this lady gets a raise. She is definitely one of the best workers I've ever seen. I believe she would be a great manager of the store if given the opportunity
Please make sure that this lady understands that she is the reason why people come to the bakery

“My experience at the grocery store they have major rats running around inside of the store so every time I'm going to go shopping I think about the rat that I saw in the cereal box looking at me and I just walked out but the rest of the places are awesome”

“I go out of my way to shop at Hercules Home Depot. The one in El cerrito has day laborers everywhere and they run up to your car to try to get work. I don't feel safe”

“I love being in Alameda. I like the fact that I am surrounded by water when there. The downtown area is very pleasant as well. A nice place to walk around and have lunch or dinner.”
“This is a very upscale Safeway in North Oakland. There's a deli inside. You can grab a quick lunch or just some pre-made food to go home and have dinner and you don't have to cook. It's clean. There's ample parking. Very nice. Safeway”
