“Hilltop plaza is a fun place to walk around and grab a drink / see a movie. Parking can be an issue but if you can get to the parking garage above everything, you’ll be able to find a nice spot for a reasonable price if your arriving by car.”

“Welcome to China, or at least an airport in China. It’s clean, but.., unless you’re of the culture of a rich old money Asian, this is not it. Maybe your Asian grandparents who go to hotels in the hills would dig it… There’s a HK street style shop, but just an egg puff will cost you $7 after tax… just go get your groceries and get back outside to the nice views. There’s also a nice cannabis shop nearby to try.”

“Glad i had a chance to visit Pier 39 as I have not been back due to the issues i've read about that SF is facing but i was with 2 other women and felt safe enough. I know there's still some issues but most big cities have their bad areas. I was here on Monday April 1st and we walked around and it was a beautiful sunny day and vendors selling food and just all around a nice day.”

“It was really cool! There were a lot of fast food places and there were many ships too! We also went on a boat that took us to San Francisco and back. It was really cool but we didn't have much time before our train came. But it was still one of my favorite places to go. ?”

“We had so much fun at Pier 39, the weather was perfect! Our Goldendoodle puppy saw the barking sea lions for the first time and they barked back and forth lol! We even took him inside a photo booth, while they didn't turn out perfectly lol, we now have memories to cherish! The shops and restaurants are endless, I purchased a couple things from Aleenk Technologies and we had lunch at Pier Market restaurant! I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Pier 39, for breathtaking views and unique businesses! We parked on the 3rd floor at Pier 39 Parking Garage and it led straight to the Pedestrian Bridge Walkway, the access to Pier 39 shops and restaurants! We are looking forward to returning to check out The Flyer when I'm no longer pregnant! Maybe we'll even add a love lock to the Pier! ;-) SYOY!”

“Great little shopping and dining plaza with really good Asian food. Also, great place to learn about Asian culture since there is an Asian cultural center and the plaza houses a branch of the oakland library. Nothing much has changed other than a couple shops have closed permanently including the Boba shop next to the bank of America. That's too bad they were my go to drink place when I visited Chinatown.”

“Love In-N-Out double doubles. However, not used to walk ins; spoiled by drive thru in So Cal. I use a cane so it was rough with no parking. Packed, no place to sit while waiting. Grateful they had someone help me carry my order. Bad news/good news. My order was missing fries. Called the # on my receipt and they are sending me a coupon to replace missing items. Really appreciated the good customer service to make things right. Thank you.”

“I love this Target. I can get everything that I need for the house and the family in one shopping trip. The prices here are very good. The savings often exceed savings at other stores in the area and there are a few staples that are always cheaper such as the Pearl Milling (Aunt Jemima) syrup.”

“"The Ridge"The machines have taken over this world, and humans are all but extinct, but this is not the end.Men are in short supply, women are now leading most factions, hidden societies are spread thin all throughout the world, and the Android's are now developing cyborgs to infiltrate them, but the humans have a plan.Man kind has gathered all that remains from all the military powers around the world. They are making their last stand in the last remaining base known as the Ridge.Elevated 3.4 miles high, it is the humans' most fortified base, equipped with: ball turrets pointing vertically and artillery guns pointing horizontally on the cliff side, SAMs and AA guns surrounding the base, tesla-coil towers on each corner, beam cannons next to the hill side entrance of the base, and pill boxes guarding that same entrance. This is the only base that has stopped every attack the enemy has thrown at it, but now the Ridge has the Android army's undivided attention.Although this is their last stand, all hope is not lost. The humans have found a weakness in the Android's forces, a weakness that will turn the tide in this war. Two outfits are being assembled at this moment. To be continued...”

“The Montclair Plaza Collective is a new pop-up market, a place for local artisans to build their brands and sell their art directly during the holiday season. It's built around "Slow Food" and "Slow Money" principles. The day I visited I found cool gifts (like bags and purses made from vintage automobile upholstery, and jewelry made from repurposed materials), appealing food items (like locally made granola and a collection of gourmet salts), watercolor paintings of Oakland landmarks, cute kids tee shirts and a newly published photo book about Montclair Village. I was told that almost all items are created within 50 miles -- and most within 10 miles. This is a great find for the holiday season!”
