They use traditional preparation techniques like slow-cooked bone broths and natural fermentation to optimize nutritional value. The food is delicious and good for you, though a little spendy; you get what you pay for. The store is clean and bright, and they promote sustainability through reusable glass packaging, offering a credit for returned bottles. They are open starting on Wednesdays and are also present at the Berkeley Farmers Markets.

I’ve been trying the various flavors of kefirs and kombuchas they make over the past few months, and so far every single one is extremely refreshing. The apple-ginger, root beer, and blueberry juniper are favorites so far.

It's a little on the spendy side, but delicious hand-made food that tastes good and it's GOOD for you. The menu slowly changes(like the seasons!") and everything is delicious-even what's GOOD for you,
