“Called in Sunday (1-28) for a quote on a new lightning port for a 2nd Gen iPhone SE. The price was competitive, but I was politely informed the bulk of their repair staff was unavailable that day and to come in the following day. Enter the next day and during the diagnosis/intake of my device I was asked to wait; Turns out my lightning port was just packed full of lint and other debris. The employee (I should have asked for a name -- d'oh!) took it in back, picked the crud out of the port, shot it with an air compressor, and in a matter of a couple minutes we were back in business. I asked if there was a bench charge or if they'd like a tip, to which they refused. When I inevitably do need a cell phone repair in the future I will absolutely consider returning.”

The phone itself could not be saved, as I fully expected (age and unavailability of parts, as HTC no longer makes phones). But Jeff worked tirelessly and diligently to retrieve and transfer all of my important information onto a new phone. I imagine it was tedious because the phone would only remain on for short increments of time before shutting down again. He was so kind and incredibly patient in answering my MANY questions, and salvaged everything I was concerned about losing, taking a lot of time in doing so, and keeping me up to date about the progress.
