Crazy thing is I was refered by a friend from NY who happened to be in town when he needed assistance for his computer. As big as I am about reviews I often feel tech guys are still gonna be less personable and all about the money. Well I was glad to have met “Eman” who made me feel reassured and comfortable with leaving my computer with him and not coming back with more costs then expected. He is honest and very respectful. makes sure he tries his best just to make customers happy. He had 3 differnt techs work on it. Bought a part that cost almost as must as he quoted me and still didn’t add more on top. I gave him a tip just for being kind and I hope others too too and get to leave with the same rejoice I did.
I cried when he gave me the news on my computer, not just cause he resolved my problem but because there aren’t as many kind people like that in that industry let alone in the world.

“I bought my Wacom Intuos Pro at MacHollywood and loved my experience. The products are authentic, and this store offers very unique services as it’s not common to be able to test out Wacom products in store. I think it’s special that they offer the ability to rent equipment as well, though I haven’t needed to do so myself.
I came in wanting to test out a couple of drawing tablets and Patrick made sure they were all available to me, including opening up a new box for the floor model.
He was attentive but didn’t hover- I felt free to take my time testing out all the features. He asked questions to help ensure I got what I was looking for, but didn’t push any unnecessary or out of budget products. He’s knowledgeable about all of the products that they carry, which is great if you need any help making decisions on such important purchases.
The selection is fun to look at, they carry many accessories to ensure that you are set to start working on your tablet as soon as you take it home.
I’m really happy with the drawing tablet I bought. I was upgrading from a 2013 model, and though the experience working with the 2025 model is night and day as far as pressure sensitivity goes, my original Wacom is still fully functional as intended for the technical capabilities of 2013. I imagine that this new Wacom will last me for many years to come, and I appreciate MacHollywood for curating a selection of only quality options.
Patrick is really easy to get along with and creates a warm atmosphere to shop in. I will certainly be back when I need new accessories, I hope this place continues to do well for many decades to come.”

“AMAZING service from Michael!! I would give 10 STARS if I could. I had called in to see if they were able to replace the screen on my Macbook Air. Luckily they had a replacement screen in stock, so I dropped off my laptop around 4pm and they had my screen fixed and ready for pick-up by the very next day around 2:30pm! Everything was incredibly fast and efficient. They were also the most cost friendly repair shop around Ktown LA when I called 6 other repair stores in the area for price comparisons. “These guys are not only very skilled, they have enormous integrity. I was fully prepared to pay them to repair an old printer on which they had immediately figured out the problem and quoted me a very reasonable price. But they went out of their way to advise me that I might be able to get a brand new replacement for the printer (the one that I have has been discontinued, but there's an upgrade of it) for not much more money than they would've charged me to fix the old one. And when I did just that, they not only weren't disappointed that I wouldn't be paying them, they were elated. Because of that, I'll bring any repair jobs that I ever have to them in the future (I might even pay them to fix the old one at some point and use it as a backup), and I'll certainly recommend them to anyone that I talk to.”

“I needed a battery for my 4 yr old Lenovo Yoga, and found online that California Computer is Lenovo certified. I originally spoke with Kevin, then with Lupé, who ordered the battery and texted when it came in. I paid in advance for the battery and installation which also included a much needed cleaning. I dropped my beloved laptop off at 12:30 p.m. and picked it up at 3:00 p.m. I did schedule this in advance, although not required I think it's only fair to any company so they can schedule and meet my timeframe. Here we are at 9:40 p.m. and my battery is still running strong and I feel as if my laptop is brand new. I would highly recommend California Computer and won't look any further if I need additional Lenovo repairs. Keep in mind that they also have a wide inventory of everything computer related. One stop shopping! Thanks to Kevin and Lupé. Also, who doesn't love supporting local small business?”

“this place is a dying breed in store purchases. I went there to get myself a pixel 10 case. they had them at the best prices compared to let's say Amazon or timu but they had them in stock. didn't have to pay for shipping. didn't have to wait so there's electronic item or TV that you want to see before you purchase. this is a place to go and they have specials deals, open boxes, stuff like that. got plenty of parking at this location. there's also a Chick-fil-A other restaurants nearby Chipotle to Costco or they have those giant slices of pizza. definitely worth a stop and if you end up wanting to go and check out what's at Costco, just tell him you're going to the pharmacy. the pharmacy's always open to the public. you don't have to be a member to to go to Costco's farming City and once you're in you can walk around and look. you just can't buy anything unless you remember but is there something that you want to buy? there can become a member. it's kind of a way to get in the door haha but back to Best buy Steph's very helpful and like I said, it's a dying breed. it's hard to find a place that's Carrie's such a large selection with electronics all in one place, especially when it comes to accessories smaller items cuz when you look at it them online. lots of times it's hard to make your decision so you can go there. check out what they've got. find what you want. you can take a Google screenshot to lends on it and then find it at Amazon. get it for cheaper delivered, especially if you're an Amazon member. you can get next day shipping. great of Amazon open up a shop like this”
