“When my father and I walked into the MB&F lab, we were not prepared for what we were in for. Expecting to briefly check out whatever watches were in stock, we were instead greeted by Jeffrey and his contagious passion for high horology. The stories he told behind the creations were as impressive as the creations themselves. I learned so much about this brand through him, from the 400 units per year production rate to how Max partners with other great modern watchmakers such as Kari Voutilainen and McGonigle. Jeffrey also showed us the amazing clocks and mechanical artwork the lab also hosts. We left with a newfound appreciation of the brand after being allowed (if not encouraged) to try on some of their most coveted pieces. I strongly encourage any lover of watchmaking to visit the lab, and I would even encourage those who are not as it will most likely turn them into fellow watch nerds.”

I "Googled" Rolex and Breitling and there is was... a rare Bentley GT that I was looking for!After asking everyone to excuse me, I immediately left a message on the Essential website to secure the watch. Even though it was just after 9 am on a Sunday in LA, Fred Brown called me, put the watch on hold and we completed the sale the next day.Outstanding service - the watch was everything it was promised to be - including original box/manuals and recent factory service documents.Fred was "Essential" to getting this done including complicated shipping details as I just HAD to have the watch shipped to me in Boston.Fred and his team in CA and NJ would have SIX stars if that was a Google rating. (yes- the watch did travel from NJ to CA to MA despite my NY billing address)”

“The most amazing service and very professional staff. Natali was helping me with a bracelet and was wonderful. I had an issue with the size so I took it to resize it. An employee at David Yurman Glendale wanted to charge me $120 to resize and said it would take 2 months. I was in shock because that’s not how the service is. So I took it to Natali on Rodeo Drive and her manager Steve was just amazing. He exchanged the bracelet with a brand new one and the size I wanted. He even gave me a special box to place it so it won’t get tangled. They both offered astounding services that are proper for the brand. The employees in the Glendale location need to be trained again because that is very poor service. So I highly recommend visiting the Beverly Hills location!”
