“We were driving from Tahoe to the Coachella Valley after skiing and Big Pine was halfway so we stayed at the Starlight Motel.
We were in the last room. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it was very affordable for an "I need to sleep before continuing my road trip" stay. There were plenty of towels and even soaps and shampoos.
I will make two observations. The heater works well, but not very efficiently. It is either on or off. And eventually, we went with off because the room was getting too hot and the blankets were more than enough to keep us warm.
There was also a low level noise, something cycling on and off intermittently the whole time. It didn't disrupt our sleep, but could be a nuisance to a light sleeper.”

“My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Cabin 14. We had planned on doing the epic lake hike (only to Lake 3), and wanted a place to relax, shower, and cook our food in comfort after the hike. The cabin was quaint, the beds were comfy, and the showers were hot. The cabin literally fit 5 people; we had two adults and three kids. I think if there were 5 total adults, the cabin would be super cramped, but with kids it was fine. Don't expect a grand resort or anything; what you are paying for is an experience, not a luxury hotel - I was expecting this and Glacier Lodge completely exceeded my expectations. It is a place to make memories with the family. We will definitely be returning!”

“Cute little motel! The room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It's close to the road, so you can hear some traffic, but that didn't bother me. My bed was comfortable, this was just the recharge I needed.”
“Wonderful little motel! My friend and I stopped here for the Big Pine Lakes hike the following day, when we arrived it was already dark and we were hungry and the sweet lady that owns the motel not only stayed late especially for us, but offered us homemade soup!
The room we had 2 beds and it was very cozy and clean, and we really enjoyed our stay! The Big Pine Lakes trail is also only a 15-20 min drive from the motel, pretty much a straight shot.”
