Ripplewood Resort offers a unique getaway with its rustic cabins nestled among the redwoods beside the Big Sur river. Guests appreciate the peaceful ambiance, allowing them to disconnect from modern distractions like Wi-Fi and cell reception. The cabins, reminiscent of the 1930s, are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary amenities, although they are on the smaller side. Visitors enjoy the charm of the surroundings, with the soothing sounds of the river enhancing their experience. Many guests highlight the proximity to excellent hiking trails and the picturesque location that makes this resort a happy place for nature lovers. While the on-site restaurant receives mixed reviews, with some finding the food average for the price, others enjoy the coffee and breakfast offerings. The staff is noted for their friendly service, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate guests’ needs. Overall, Ripplewood Resort is recommended for those seeking a tranquil retreat in Big Sur, with cozy cabins and a focus on nature, making it a great spot to unwind and explore the stunning surroundings.

Stayed at a Cabin here it was great! The view of the river was really beautiful. The cabin was clean and spacious except for the bathroom, the shower was tiny. It does get cold at night so make sure you take blankets. There was a lot of people but everything was calm after 9pm. Would totally recommend!
