I come here specifically to buy Tomahawk steaks for my clients when they sell or buy a home as a closing. It's been a real big hit with my clients, particularly the young veterans, and it's one of the few places I know for sure they'll carry it year round.
They carry a wide selection of prepared foods and grocery items. We have even purchased our ? turkey for Thanksgiving here and Christmas prime rib.
Staff at the meat counter are friendly, quick to answer questions, and efficient. You can always call and ask for the meat counter if you want pricing over the phone.”

“The Butcher Block is a legit place for a wide variety of fresh meat selection and cuts. Take a look at my picture for prices and choices in January 28th, 2023. The shop is clean with friendly customer service. Prices I think are okay since they are always packed. ***Tip: get a number as soon you get in. Plenty of parking right across the street, hard to see at first, but ? look, plenty of spots for everyone. Practice patience while you're number gets called. Check out my last buy fully cooked (rib eye steak).”

The carne asada preparada was so soft and tender. It wasn’t chewy at all. Everyone at the BBQ was asking me where I got the meat from. “I recently discovered this place as it was recommended by my brother. I buy the seasoned paleta or lomo de res and it is delicious! The slices are thin and the texture is perfect. My kids usually are not fans of carne asada but when I buy it here they love it. I highly recommend this place. Their staff is also very friendly and helpful.”

“I like that they had what I was looking for. Most stores in the area don't carry it. But some of the meat looks old. So you have to be careful what you choose and don't be scared of to ask for something fresh. Oh and the name of what I was looking for was in Spanish. So you might not think they have it. Luckily I looked it up prior to going lol.”

“You don’t have to blind back in from the street. There’s several ways to approach the entrance to avoid it. I made a map below -after the cul de sac U-turn just go back exactly the way you came and you’ll be able to do a drivers side back into the facility. You could even pass the facility on Brittanica and keep going and loop back to approach the entrance on Bristow from the West. There’s always available parking on Martinez Ranch Road too if you’re running out of time, just don’t throw your trash everywhere so they stop letting us park there. Hope this helps.”

“This store has gotten smaller since the last time I was there. It still has fresh meat and poultry, fruits and vegetables. What I like most is the variety of baking goods and prepared baked goods they have. Their prices are not the best, but in a pinch and if you don't want/have time to go to a bake shop, this is a good alternative.”
