“We learn so much about the meat processing, healthy farming and "best" cuts of meats are for us each time we go into this small but mighty establishment in North Park. This was a first time my hubby and I actually went to a 'real' butcher shop and were pleasantly surprised by how clean, and expedient the store and the service was and how knowledgeable and friendly "Tony" has been these past two times. “Wonderful storefront for the Jewish community. We live in East County, San Diego, and usually we have to drive all the way to Ralph's UTC for Kosher meat and other imported goods. We had no idea this storefront existed until recently, just down the freeway from us! Great selection of kosher snacks, baked goods, meat, imported items from Israel and candles for Shabbat, Havdalah and Yahrzeit. The team that work here are friendly and helpful. The store layout is organized and easy to shop.”

It’s a butcher with fine meats but they also have a plethora of other things like seafood, groceries, wine, etc. They also have a sit down area where you can order something to eat and sit there to eat. Prices are a bit high on the meats but I suppose it’s just the markup for the areas served.”

What I like most is the variety of baking goods and prepared baked goods they have. Their prices are not the best, but in a pinch and if you don't want/have time to go to a bake shop, this is a good alternative.”

“I came in and ordered what i thought was a salad, the lady came out and brought me a sandwich and then i realized i made the mistake of ordering a sandwich, i work in customer service and didnt want to make her job any harder so i decided i was just going to take my item since it was my mistake, she insisted on changing it for me to the salad i wanted so i accepted and she did the credit and charge again, i just finished my salad and it was delicious, my receipt says Leslie so i assume she was the cashier, she was very friendly and patient through the whole process and im truly thankful for that, i didnt get the name of the lady making the salads but it was really good! thank you as well.”

“They go by appointment and very quick to unload you . Yes there's room inside to turn around and back up to shipping office once they call you . Parked on the street there all night no problems, and truck stop down the street is paid parking, 12 $ for 12 hours or your trailer washout receipt ..”

I have been shopping here for several years, and I am always happy with the quality of their products; the freshness, taste, appearance, and the extremely friendly and helpful staff that are more than willing to assist you. Once you enter this tiny establishment, you will be hooked as I was many years ago. Inside you will find an assortment of meats, cheeses, French butter, jams, preserves, cookies, duck rigglets, various pates, sauces, pastries, dry goods, candies, frozen foods (i.e, duck confit, sausages, escargot, veggies, etc.), oils, pastas, canned seafoods (tuna, sardines, cuttlefish...), and numerous seasonal items.
