“I am in love with this quaint little store. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable about the plants. I decided to pick up a prayer plant for my mom because I think they are so neat. I'd been trying to buy a piece of it on Amazon but after seeing it on the shelf, it was calling my name. There are so many adorable items aside from plants. Believe me, I was tempted to buy way more than one plant. I can't wait to see this guy that I bought thrive.”

“This is a wonderful place out on Chase Avenue that has a huge selection, sizes,styles, of planting pots and big urns for your yard.They have lots of terracotta and beautiful bright colored ceramic pots. They also have wood planter boxes of many sizes! Their prices are super competitive so I had no trouble taking home most of what I was looking for.”
“Huge shoutout to all the folks at Armstrong! My wife and I recently got married and ordered all of our centerpieces through the garden center. The team at Armstrong worked with us to accumulate 12 Boston Ferns and 10 Creeping Figs in a matter of weeks, and were very diligent to communicate with us every step of the way. We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the plants were and how nicely they brought together the space. Thanks Armstrong team!”

“I worked there about 11 years ago and I was very happy to see it still thriving! My fiance and I stopped in to pick up succulents to use for centerpieces at our wedding that was happening that week. Great selection! We were able to get more than what we needed for our wedding! Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in San Diego.”
“Well situated in the Smart & Final Shopping Center, there's also CVS, McDonald's, 24-Hour Fitness, Goodwill, Great Clips and a Barbershop. Large Starbucks and several fast food establishments including Domino's pizza and a Thai restaurant. Cox Communication store, Pet grooming and a pet store. Among others.
Plenty of parking.”

She offered critique on what colors to go for with the flowers, card envelope, and wrapping. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.”
“This nursery is really cute. There are a few chickens that wander around the property, they'll leave you alone but if they're one of your fears, keep that in mind. Parking is only available on the street. That is kind of a bummer. They do have a good variety of plants, and that's adorable. Theyre one of the oldest nurseries in San Diego so bonus points for that. Theyre also a small business. The people are knowledgable and theres a park right across the street too. All in all, I will be back. Thanks!”

“Needed something that was in an aisle that was closed. One employee told me that I couldn't get what I needed and should wait, that even an employee wasn't allowed in that aisle, when in fact an employee in that closed aisle gladly helped me.”
“First time I used their curbside pick up and the experience was horrible. Followed all the prompts via the app and waited for ten minutes before I went inside to see what was going on and all I got were excuses. The end result was once the order was finally pulled, palletized and loaded into my truck 40 minutes had elapsed. Kind of defeats the purpose of the whole process of ordering online and messaging system to save time. The second time around was 180 degrees different! I didn't even have time to lower my tailgate before someone came out to greet me and direct me to where my truck would be loaded! Forklift was ready and waiting. Awesome experience and never had a problem with the staff just the process.”

“I had the best experience here (6/23/2024). The air-condition went out at my girlfriends home during the hottest week of the year. Our main concern was for grandma's health and wellbeing, so we quickly needed accessories for the portable AC units. With minutes before the store closed and doors closing, the manager gave grace and allowed me to shop for the items i needed. The entire team was very professional and friendly. Thank you! ? ?”

“Always a good experience at this location. There are armed security people patrolling the parking lot which alleviates safety concerns and minimizes the shopping cart theft. Their pro customers are well taken care of and they allot ample motorcycle parking spaces near the entrance. Not the best neighborhood but they are giving notice that the plan is to sustain a presence there and you can be comfortable shopping there. Nice to see they are not bailing out of the area.”
“I was in the carpet section looking for something for my front yard for a birthday party. Charlie (or Charles I forgot which was his name was) was really great and genuinely cares for his customers. I came looking for a specific item but they didn't have it. He tried calling other stores but they were taking too long and took his time to give me better options. Great guy. He's the reason why this place gets 5 stars. Also, the lady at the cashier in the garden section was very nice and genuine. This place has some really great staff.”

Others storesDid not have available at all, the price was less expensive then Lowe's also”
