“We visited recently to look into purchasing our first fruit tree. Chris, who was super nice, helped us through the whole process and showed us many different options based on what we were looking for. He was very patient and informative, we never felt rushed or brushed off. He walked us through the nursery and gave a lot of great advise and info on how to care for our new additions.
We are looking forward to coming back for our next new addition. This is a great nursery to come and visit. Very clean parking is easy, others were also very laid back and kind.

“Huge shoutout to all the folks at Armstrong! My wife and I recently got married and ordered all of our centerpieces through the garden center. The team at Armstrong worked with us to accumulate 12 Boston Ferns and 10 Creeping Figs in a matter of weeks, and were very diligent to communicate with us every step of the way. “Best nursery in San Diego. I hate to disparage another business, but Armstrong is like 30% cheaper than Terra Bella. They often have deals, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a great selection of plants. I have bought indoor plants, outdoor flowers, all sorts of gardening accountrements, and just this last time- a beautiful 50%-off Japanese maple tree. Love Armstrong.”
“These guys are awesome! I didn't even need anything they were selling, but they still helped me find someone to replace my missing tree grates. I called asking for a referral, they did all the research for me, & then called me back with a local metalworks guy's name, company, & phone number.

Large Starbucks and several fast food establishments including Domino's pizza and a Thai restaurant. Cox Communication store, Pet grooming and a pet store. Among others.

“This nursery is really cute. There are a few chickens that wander around the property, they'll leave you alone but if they're one of your fears, keep that in mind. Parking is only available on the street. That is kind of a bummer. They do have a good variety of plants, and that's adorable. Theyre one of the oldest nurseries in San Diego so bonus points for that. Theyre also a small business. The people are knowledgable and theres a park right across the street too. All in all, I will be back. Thanks!”
“The PB Southwest Boulder and Stone group was so great to work with. Not only do they have a great selection, but also their customer service is top notch. Ricky took the time on multiple visits to help me find a flagstone that I really liked (and I am picky), and moreover when I finally made a decision, he even took extra time to help me select just the right pieces with the right colors! He made what was a daunting task fun for me. It was incredible customer service from the front desk (shout out Shawna) to the rock yard (is that what it is called?). When/if I need more landscaping materials, this is where I will go and I highly recommend this place.”

“First time I used their curbside pick up and the experience was horrible. Followed all the prompts via the app and waited for ten minutes before I went inside to see what was going on and all I got were excuses. The end result was once the order was finally pulled, palletized and loaded into my truck 40 minutes had elapsed. Kind of defeats the purpose of the whole process of ordering online and messaging system to save time. The second time around was 180 degrees different! I didn't even have time to lower my tailgate before someone came out to greet me and direct me to where my truck would be loaded! Forklift was ready and waiting. Awesome experience and never had a problem with the staff just the process.”
“Needed something that was in an aisle that was closed. One employee told me that I couldn't get what I needed and should wait, that even an employee wasn't allowed in that aisle, when in fact an employee in that closed aisle gladly helped me.”
