“Order of Anoles was back ordered because they sold out over the weekend and they contacted me directly to ask how to proceed! Great service! Many companies will just refund your money but that’s not what I wanted. They switched my order to a different type of anole per my wishes. Such nice people and great service! Will order again.”

“I only come here for chicken feed so I can't speak to the other products. They reliably carry our brands and a good mix of mash, crumbles and pellets. Wish they would stock grow crumbles more consistently but they always have layer feed. One star off as occasionally I have to go else where for the chick feed. Otherwise you can do a lot worse than this place!”

“Love Petco every time I have a question they help me out. My Jack Dempsey(fish) got stuck in a decoration and he hurt his scales and I went to Petco and talked to the fish guy in fact he sold me the Jack Dempsey and instead of selling me something he was honest and said that'd he fine. But if I wanted to do something to add a little salt. He could have sold me a bunch of stuff I didn't need he didnt. It was nice”
“This is also the current location of Hawthorne Country store. This is my go-to place for chicken feed and other supplies for chickens but they also have an amazing selection of food and supplies for dogs, horses and other pet and farm animals. They usually have baby chickens and occasionally have other baby animals like pigs and guinea pigs. A great selection of canning supplies and gifts as well.”
“10/10 highly recommend! My English Bulldog had his first ever groom here today and he looks amazing! The facility is beautiful, clean and very well decorated. Ty did such a wonderful job, my boy looks like a million bucks and smells even better! Great communication and you can feel that they really do LOVE dogs. We will be returning every month!”

“The manager Kayla was extremely helpful and helping me find an all natural grain free treat for my cat. I specified that I needed something with no grain or sugar because my cat was on medicated food for UTIs. She found a treat that literally has one ingredient and my cat is obsessed with it. She was super sweet and we got to chatting about cats. I’m happy to see they have fellow animal lovers working here. Thank you again!”

“This was our first time in the Hawthorne country store Fallbrook location. Jackie and the other employees went above and beyond to help get us set up with our first set of baby chicks. We will definitely be coming back for anything we need for our animals.”
“It is a small place but they have a great variety of koi and pond plants. The prices for koi started low for small and went up to giant beautiful ones. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. They had the supplies I needed at a reasonable price.
The koi were very sociable in our pond and now the other fish are too. Great addition to our pond. Highly recommend!”

“Taylor, the groomer is very awesome. I love how she talks to our pet as she is working with him, I wasn't that pleased with the cashier when she asked if I wanted to leave a tip for the groomer and I said I would leave with the groomer, and she said that I had to write down the amount no matter if I was going to leave it with the groomer or I left with the charge so they could see how much I left. I have never had to do that before. The excuse was that they wanted to show for accounting purposes.”

“I would like to complement Petco for having such a great puppy training class!
I have been taking my puppy there now since November and we just LOVE working with Laurie.
She is such a knowledgeable trainer and always has great ideas to help me be a successful dog partner.
We have a pretty wild girl but she loves her Aunt Laurie and is so well behaved for her.
Laurie has lots of patience with both of us.
I'm not sure who gives her more grief but I suspect it's me.
She works so well with all the dogs.
We will continue to attend classes until we get kicked out...hahaha
We just signed up for our 4th package and it's a real hoot.
If you get a new puppy I highly recommend you check out Laurie!

“Truly top quality food. Obviously human grade beef produced in the U.S. leaves a lot to be desired, so I usually buy rabbit. Super-expensive and wish it was available in more locations, but I've tried lots of food and every indicator is this is the best. My friend's dog was scratching and licking paws, had skin issues, etc., and a week of eating Halshan's and it was a different dog. Even the dog's mood and energy visibly changed. I have 2 big pitbulls and I LITERALLY spend as much on halshan's as my mortgage payment, but totally worth it. (For one of the dogs I include Spot and Tango just to try to save a few dollars!) Spot and Tango doesn't agree with the other dog tho.”
“I am not one to leave reviews but this company deserves it the most.
I had a pup who recently lost her back leg. Unfortunately she has been very depressed. I had thought maybe some new treats would help cheer her up and I was absolutely right. I am not sure what kind of magic is in these treats, but she is now back to her rambunctious self and has been very enticed to move around and do her therapy with a lovely reward from this bakery. I now get them delivered monthly!
These treats have been such a delight for my sweet pup, I have decided to put a jar out for my neighbors to grab a treat as they walk by with their pups. I have had so many requests from them as to where I had gotten these!
