Throughout the year long planning process, Shelia & Ivonne and many others went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. Shelia & Ivonne, both a dream come true! Both were always quick to answer any questions that we had and did an amazing job of keeping us on track. We could feel the love and enthusiasm they pour into each of their events each time we connected with them. The day-of was absolutely perfect! Not only is the space simply gorgeous but the team is so accommodating. They were attentive to all of our needs (me, my husband, multiple family members) before things got kicked off and then during the celebration, they were ever present making sure guests had what they needed and were well taken care of. So many guests have complimented the venue on how beautiful it was! The Venue's team made our day so perfect. Everything seemed well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the evening. You could tell a lot of thought had gone into the planning and execution.

“From the moment my then-fiancée-now-wife Michelle and I first toured Los Willows, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. But on top of the absolutely gorgeous venue, what made our entire wedding experience truly over-the-top extraordinary was our coordinator Heather.

THE VENUE: Not exaggerating when I say we were obsessive about picking a venue; by the time we toured Los Willows, we had toured at over 30 venues and literally kept Word documents and Excel spreadsheets documenting every single experience. By the time we got to LW, we were more or less resigned to the thought that every venue would have some things that we liked, and many things that we had to compromise on. And then we toured Los Willows. It was the only venue we went to where we loved every single thing about it. The grounds are breathtaking, every corner is photo-worthy, and the atmosphere feels like something out of a dream. The wedding aspect wasn’t an afterthought like some venues that were normally something else (bar, golf course, restaurant) and did weddings as an afterthought to cash in on wedding income, but an entire dedicated estate for the purposes of our (and maybe your!) wedding. Other places we’ve seen with the whole estate dedicated to weddings did stuff like split the property into 2 or sometimes even 3 sections to run 2-3 simultaneous weddings. They felt impersonal, like the property was just a money-generating machine. But with Los Willows, you get the ENTIRE (HUGE) property to yourselves, dedicated to making your wedding the best that it could be. Los Willows feels like a dream land, overflowingly packed with infinite small details to make you and your partner and your family and friends ooh and ahh. A cute red roadster for the coolest entrance ever, the drooping lights hanging from the willow trees, two dedicated getting-ready HOUSES (not a room; HOUSES, on-property) for the bride and groom and the wedding party to hang out in, a lake with ducks and turtles and a boat. There was something for everyone: us, our families, our wedding party and all of our guests. The property was pristine and glorious and something out of a fairytale.

THE COORDINATOR: Heather wasn’t just good at her job, she was something of a miracle worker. Our wedding day was the best day of my life, but also one of the most stressful. But it seemed like every time I was about to die from the stress, Heather appeared, like a magical wedding fairy. She kept everything in line, always having the perfect solution, the right words, and the calm confidence, even when many uncontrollable elements of the day caused numerous delays and setbacks. She juggled every curveball with grace, speed, and a smile. She handled my anxiety and obsessiveness to make sure everything was perfect for my bride, and was always able to calm me down and make things happen.

She managed the schedule, organized with the vendors, and handled all the behind-the-scenes issues before I even knew they existed. I don’t know how she did it all, but I do know I could not have imagined our wedding without her there. Heather is the reason we were able to actually enjoy our day rather than me crashing out in a corner somewhere (there were infinitely many beautiful corners at the venue, perfect for taking pictures or having minor crash-outs).

If you’re considering Los Willows, just know that you’re not only getting one of the most stunning wedding locations imaginable; you’re also getting the gift of all the staff’s expertise and organization and heart. All of the stuff had this passion for throwing amazing weddings that you can just feel from the enthusiasm they bring to your day and your planning. Everyone from Liza who helped process changes to Lynn the director, to Alberto the setup manager, and of course Heather. They all worked together to make our wedding unforgettable in every way, and we will be forever grateful.”

“My wife and I got married June 22nd 2023. We had our reception at the Vista Optimist Club. My experience was amazing. Shannon was so helpful and professional. The venue itself was immaculate. From the garden and gazebo to the grass lawn and outdoor lighting. We had the option to have an inside outside wedding but outside waa too beautiful to have it inside.The lay out is easy for your guests to get to and from there car. Having the parking lot close by made it easy for all my guests to arrive and leave without a problem. It's easy to find right off the freeway. I highly recommend this venue and the Venue Manager Shannon. Shannon thank you so much for everything. My wife and I had the greatest night of our lives.”

“Amazing retreat for our San Diego Vacation. We were in one of the airstreams and got to enjoy listening to nature sounds at night, playing with the goats and enjoying the hospitality of our amazing hosts. This is an oasis not far from the city. Close to the freeway but we didn't hear it. Highly recommend this peaceful getaway.”

The greens aren’t in perfect shape, but the fairways are nicely kept, and the layout—featuring elevated views overlooking the town—adds to the beauty of the course. We had our ceremony in the garden pavilion and it was absolutely magical. The food and service was excellent, and the whole event ran extremely smoothly. Our on-site coordinator Traillan was extremely lovely to work with. She was very responsive to any questions we had as well as accommodating to any requests we wanted. “? Like my review! We had a lovely two night stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Oceanside. We stayed here after a family member fell ill on the day of our arrival and we struggled to find a place to stay on Christmas Eve. Despite the mixed reviews from other guests, and after departing another sketchy hotel nearby, we were very glad to take a leap of faith and would definitely return. The room was very comfortable with all the essentials for a long term stay including provided shampoo, conditioner, body soap, dishwashing soap, plates, utensils, coffee maker, couch, desk, and television. It's worth to note that their internet is not the greatest for streaming. Despite no waffle maker, the hot breakfast was great holding us over until dinner with breakfast sandwiches, crustless quiche, coffee, tea, juices, milk, yogurt (including Greek), oatmeal, bagels, bread, muffins, and all the condiments. Several pet owners were also welcomed. They also have a pool, fire pit, and gym, which was heavily utilized during our stay. The location was prime to several restaurants including our family's favorite pizza place. Despite the renovations, I'm excited to see what the rooms will look like upon completion. Plus, seeing several people from the United States Coast Guard staying here made me very proud of the accommodations. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family! Shout out to Kelly and Brian who took care of us (and any issues) during the lovely stay.”

“I never stay in hotels but during a little mini vacation we stayed here and to me it felt ritzy. The rooms are clean, the beds and furniture are super comfy. The hospitality was great, they offer a 24 hours fitness center, with pool and jacuzzi access.”
