“We had our wedding ceremony and reception at this Venue in May( a Rustic & vintage Wonderland!) and from day one we knew we made a great choice! Throughout the year long planning process, Shelia & Ivonne and many others went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. Shelia & Ivonne, both a dream come true! Both were always quick to answer any questions that we had and did an amazing job of keeping us on track. We could feel the love and enthusiasm they pour into each of their events each time we connected with them. The day-of was absolutely perfect! Not only is the space simply gorgeous but the team is so accommodating. They were attentive to all of our needs (me, my husband, multiple family members) before things got kicked off and then during the celebration, they were ever present making sure guests had what they needed and were well taken care of. So many guests have complimented the venue on how beautiful it was! The Venue's team made our day so perfect. We couldn't have pulled it off so successfully if they were not such a professional, caring, talented and amazing team. “Grand Tradition hosted the most incredible wedding. The day was hands free, the venue is more spectacular in person, & they truly take care of everything. The planning and coordinating staff were on top of their game. The food tasting experience to plan the menu beforehand was a blast. We asked for our food for the wedding to be seasoned as the chef would prepare. Let me say, we were upset we didn’t eat more. Our friends and family talked about the Tortellini & Chicken Wellington well after. Fantastic location + guaranteed beautiful weather all year, two additional bonuses that contribute to a stress free wedding. On our wedding day, the guest were amazed and we had the best day of our lives!Our only complaint was that the bartenders seemed to be trying to run through our tab so that they could move to a cash bar for more tips. As someone who used to bartend and work events, I was very upset. The planning staff recommended that we put $1500 on our bar tab, stating that it should last us all night with 120 guests (half of them do not drink). We ended up having 78 guests, yet hit our tab by the end of cocktail hour prior to dinner. While we were eating, the bar switched to a cash bar without us being made aware. After furthering inquiring about the issue, our guests told us that the bartenders did not ask them what liquor they wanted for mixed drinks or shots, and defaulted to the top shelf option without asking. Guests made multiple comments about how they asked for a tequila shot and were given Don Julio. Every bar or restaurants staff member knows to ask alcohol preference, never been to one that hasn’t in my life. Therefore, every drink served during cocktail hour was the most expensive option available, maxing out our tab and pushing our guest to pay for themselves. Clearly this works in favor of the bartenders, as it results in higher tips from individual purchases. When we added an additional $1000 to our tab, we emphasized that well liquor was the only option to be served along with beer/wine. It lasted us 4 hours versus 1 hour when the bar was defaulting to top shelf for all drinks/shots.Again, my husband and I would have our wedding a million times over at Grand Tradition. We wish that there was better communication regarding the bar, because we would’ve started the night only offering well liquor, beer and wine.Overall it is hard to imagine this venue being beat, not just in California but nationwide. Every single guest we had said it was the best wedding that they’ve ever attended, and that the venue was absolutely stunning. Thank you to Danielle and Grand Tradition for being all that we had hoped for and more for our special day!”

“We had our wedding at Twin Oaks in July 2023 and it was absolutely amazing and beautiful. The day was orchestrated perfectly and everything went so smoothly with the help of our wonderful planner Natalia. While I wouldn’t say that Trademark helps too much in the overall planning process, I do think they help tremendously in coordinating with vendors, putting together the wedding day timeline, and sorting out the design details. It is very nice and convenient to have the venue, catering, and rentals all in one with Trademark. The Twin Oaks venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and has the magical garden vibe that I was looking for. It fit our 110 guests well. The day was so perfect and we have so many amazing memories from our time there!”

“It is a very kid-friendly place, the bed is very comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet, and the animals are very interesting. It would be very interesting for two or three families to gather here. The only downside is that there are no other interesting places around the accommodation, which is relatively simple.”

“Really wonderful as always! It's basically a gravel lot with utilities, but it's the lodge and people that make it so special! Glenda and Esther share the hosting in the RV Park. You'll probably talk to one of them. You'll also probably see Esther's husband, Vincent, around. They're all great people and they work hard to keep the park running smoothly. There is a small dog park, the Swim Step Bar where you may find some live music or a celebration of some kind (the 4th of July party was great fun!) Laundry room, the lounge, indoor and outdoor seating... it's a really great lodge! If you're in need of a friend, stop into the Vista Elks lodge and you're sure to find one. Or more!”

“We love this place. When we are available on Mondays we go for the great hamburgers and fries dinner. Today I'm extremely excited to go this evening because they are serving beef or chicken taco. This will be a first for us and maybe a first for them? I'll update my review tomorrow. Remember, great burgers plus monies go to a good cause. One more thing the volunteers working they are so sweet. Leave a good tip!”

“My wife and I got married June 22nd 2023. We had our reception at the Vista Optimist Club. My experience was amazing. Shannon was so helpful and professional. The venue itself was immaculate. From the garden and gazebo to the grass lawn and outdoor lighting. We had the option to have an inside outside wedding but outside waa too beautiful to have it inside.The lay out is easy for your guests to get to and from there car. Having the parking lot close by made it easy for all my guests to arrive and leave without a problem. It's easy to find right off the freeway. I highly recommend this venue and the Venue Manager Shannon. Shannon thank you so much for everything. My wife and I had the greatest night of our lives.”

Keith cooked and drove us down to the venue and parking lot and Cindy served and made sure we had everything we needed. “My family absolutely loves this place. It’s so charming, it’s quiet, a hole in the wall is the best way to describe the place. I don’t understand why they aren’t more busy than they are because its VERY good and reasonably priced. Oceanside has a lot of taco stands but not a lot of Mexican restaurants and this place takes the cake. We’ve been 5ish times and every single one is consistently good and they are so understanding of our toddler. The crispy deep fried potato tacos are so yummy, the chimi is good, my husband’s fajitas were great. The kids meal is even awesome. I can’t say enough good things. I am SO glad we took a chance here.”

Her took very good care of us , always asking what we need and provided it right away. Also like to thank SUMMER the party organizer , she's awesome and great ! Very patient and so sweet explained everything from party packages and etc. Overall our experience is AMAZING! My daughter and her friends are happy . DEFINITELY will recommend this place .”

“We stayed here for about a month while an insurance claim was being taken care of. We loved the staff and got to know them well. Beds were comfy, rooms were spacious and we loved to firepit and pool areas. We stayed in room 123 which I would advise against if you're a light sleeper. The ac for the whole floor is outside the bedroom and just rhe other side of rhe headboard and it clicks on and off all night. Hubby and I were heavy sleepers so it didn't bother us. It definitely felt like home.”
