“Criminals got my debit card from a state website and did a 1 cent transaction to find out if my card was valid, Mgt at this bank saw what was going on and froze the account. They sent me an email and called me when it happened but I didn't see it until 10 minutes after they closed. I called anyway and the Manager picked up and spent 10 minutes reassuring me that my small savings was secure. Let's face it, most businesses don't answer the phone after closing and don't spend time to calm an old guy down. If you are anywhere near the 3 locations please support this bank.”

“The Los Gatos US Bank on Santa Cruz Ave was a pleasurable experience. We discovered this bank and branch while searching for a "Coveted" safebox. We made an appointment. The branch manager and his assistant J J were both ready to support our needs when we arrived. In about an hour, we opened a checking account, savings account, and rented the safebox that as well. There is plenty of parking in an otherwise difficult area due to all the other wonderful businesses and restaurants in the area. All in all, it was a fine experience. I plan to go back to this branch and open a business account soon.”

“We went here today at the Scotts Valley branch on our way to Los Gatos to buy a used car from a private party and needed to take out some money. We were a little pressed for time and I was a bit reluctant having read a bunch of negative reviews regarding understaffing, poor customer service, etc. We had dropped off our child and had to meet the seller and had a small window of time for the bank and arrived a bit apprehensive but hopeful to get our business done and get going on the road. My husband got in the short line and I sat down with my phone to kill some time and was immediately asked if I needed to be helped and he in turn moved right along to the teller and was immediately receiving our funds. I noticed another customer was having a pleasant business conversation with the accounts banker, another banker asked me for reassurance that I did not need to be helped, and at the tellers, there were three employees, all polite and helpful. We walked out in a very timely manner with no hassels or stress doing business here.”
“I was searching for a bank in Santa Cruz County that did not have or manage investments in oil and gas, and Bay Fed was the only one that I could find. I had an account there that I had not used in years and found, once going there in person, that they had changed their policies to give people good interest rates for various types of accounts without penalties for going below the original level of investment. This was told to me by a very cordial and knowledgeable teller named Yisah, and she recmmended that i talk further with another person, Andrew Leon, whom she alerted and who was instantly available. He informed my spouse and I of what we could do to change our accounts for better interest and recommended that we talk with another person about CD's, etc. Mr. Leon also gave a message to that other person to please call me. This is far more helpful assistance than I got from a large brokerage firm. Both Yisah and Mr. Leon were exceedingly enthusiastic about their work and had people skills to be much admired. I could not have learned more or have been treated more kindly anywhere.”

“Mrs Cruz is a very knowledgeable associate that helped us with a multiple estate account transfer. She was very helpful in filling out the many papers to process these transactions. We also felt very cared for as we were not shooed off to some large corporate office, portal site or other location. I liked that their manager took the time to expedite and approve all this paperwork quickly. (Heard it can take weeks, we were fortunate to have the staff and the correct documentation to get it completed.)They have a free parking lot with EV stations and street parking. There is a security guard outside. There are 2 friendly front tellers and multiple private rooms for other banking transactions/applications.We really learned a lot and felt the extra care during this difficult and time restrained estate transfer.”
