“I was searching for a bank in Santa Cruz County that did not have or manage investments in oil and gas, and Bay Fed was the only one that I could find. I had an account there that I had not used in years and found, once going there in person, that they had changed their policies to give people good interest rates for various types of accounts without penalties for going below the original level of investment. This was told to me by a very cordial and knowledgeable teller named Yisah, and she recmmended that i talk further with another person, Andrew Leon, whom she alerted and who was instantly available. He informed my spouse and I of what we could do to change our accounts for better interest and recommended that we talk with another person about CD's, etc. Mr. Leon also gave a message to that other person to please call me. This is far more helpful assistance than I got from a large brokerage firm. Both Yisah and Mr. Leon were exceedingly enthusiastic about their work and had people skills to be much admired. I could not have learned more or have been treated more kindly anywhere.”

Glad I moved from Chase to Wells Fargo!!! Only one thing, their auto tellers outside like to take your money. Never seen 2 machines jam so much and I am sure the machine took at last a 20 from me. “I've been a long time customer at Chase but I rarely go into their offices anymore. I recently opened a business checking account and had the best customer service experience at this location. We met with An Nguyen who explained their accounts and provided the best options to make their services work for us. Later we met with Hugh Wong to open a business CD account and once again, everything was exceptional. Hugh made sure I had access to my accounts, which was great foresight to reduce any possible frustrations later. I was very impressed that all details were considered and potential issues were removed. I am happy I moved my business accounts to Chase.”

“Very friendly staff and their hours are awesome. I recently sold a car and wanted to deposit the cashiers check immediately and was next to a Citibank down the street. It was 4:59PM and as I'm trying to go in, they shut the door in my face and when I asked them to deposit for me, they rudely said "we're closed, use the ATM". Long story short, I run some errands and decide to stop by this Chase bank on Big Basin to deposit via ATM. When I pull up, I couldn't believe they were still open - incidentally it was 6PM exactly. I jump out of my car, rush in and the 2 staff members in there greeted me with courtesy and proceeded to deposit my check without trying to rush me out or anything. They said they always try to close 5-10 mins after their official close time b/c they recognize people may be coming back from work, etc. Great service!”

“I like this center! I wanted to apply a debit for my youth daughter and this is the third bank that I have called (the first two did not work out of all kinds of reasons). Kiran the Business Owner Specialist got me an appointment on the same day and gave me a clear instructions on what to bring on the phone. My daughter got her student account set up with no problem on the appointment and we are really happy to visit this center! The only reason I did not give 5 star is that the door scratched my pump leather, otherwise everything is perfect!”

She brought up my account, showed me the new CD rates and duration on her computer. I made my selection, she saved my file, and printed the new CD term sheet. “We went here today at the Scotts Valley branch on our way to Los Gatos to buy a used car from a private party and needed to take out some money. We were a little pressed for time and I was a bit reluctant having read a bunch of negative reviews regarding understaffing, poor customer service, etc. We had dropped off our child and had to meet the seller and had a small window of time for the bank and arrived a bit apprehensive but hopeful to get our business done and get going on the road. My husband got in the short line and I sat down with my phone to kill some time and was immediately asked if I needed to be helped and he in turn moved right along to the teller and was immediately receiving our funds. I noticed another customer was having a pleasant business conversation with the accounts banker, another banker asked me for reassurance that I did not need to be helped, and at the tellers, there were three employees, all polite and helpful. We walked out in a very timely manner with no hassels or stress doing business here.”
