From the moment I messaged Lang Antiques I was treated to excellent correspondence; they even put the ring I was interested in on hold while we discussed having it resized. “Yadav is our jeweler of choice and I'm so glad my husband decided to get my engagement ring and our wedding bands from them. It's a family owned business- every time we go in we are greeted with smiles and kindness. We haven't had any bad customer service experiences at Yadav. When we were initially shopping for rings, some of the other jewelers in the city were arrogant and unresponsive to our questions via email- so we took it as them not wanting our money. We've had appointments and have even walked in without appointments and Maytal, Edan, and Destiny have always been helpful, friendly, and accommodating. “Before working with ADA, I went into the process of buying an engagement ring worried about the uncertainties that can come with buying a diamond online. Would the stone be good quality? Would the setting? How would I know that the stone I chose wouldn't have imperfections not considered in the grading process? When doing research about the process on reddit, I came upon a post by one of the founders (?) listing some of the things Ada Diamonds considers during their quality control check of prospective diamonds and I decided to work with them. I worked remotely with Jessi R of their SF location and the process was an absolute joy. For the level of customization in the process, the timeline moved smoothly, and there were various checkpoints where you could see what the ring would look like. Although I don't anticipate needing it, the complimentary resizing assuaged the nervousness of buying online. “My spouse and I are attending a wedding soon where the dress code is "Desi Formal" and based on all the great Yelp reviews, we made our way to San Bruno to see what Akarshan has available. I love working with local, family-owned businesses rather than large chains and big retailers. And I found working with Harminder was awesome. She was ultra-friendly and told us that most of the men's wear is already at their new facility. They are in the process of moving to a new, right nearby, larger showroom. So, we walked over there and she took her time to show us many pieces. I was looking for a nice Sherwani outfit and had plenty to choose from. We went back to the store and met with the seamstress who will be making some slight adjustments - moving some buttons. Their prices are very fair for the beautiful pieces that they have. So excited to have discovered their store.”

“First things first... Kelly is the best! My girlfriend and I started our engagement ring purchasing process by looking at other online websites for lab grown diamonds. We had a diamond picked out for her and all we needed was the ring size. We had previously bought a ring from Padis in Walnut Creek and called to get the ring size. Kelly told me the ring size and informed me that their prices were very competitive to other online jewelers. Upon looking at Padis' website, I found out that the ring and setting that I had customized was 40% cheaper than the other online jewelers. We are so happy that we found such a great deal with a local jeweler! We cannot wait to see what it looks like! Thank you again, Kelly.”
“I love this store. The styles are very unique in a GOOD way. With how much time I spend in San Francisco I was surprised I hadn't heard of the store before now. I was recently at Noc Noc bar literally right down the street with a friend on a Saturday night and they had a really good DJ from the UK playing. I actually talked with him after he was done playing and he told me he lives a couple doors down in the same building as the store (Wild Feather). He invited me over but that wasn't something I do. I did however, check out the store a few days later with a friend. I have since bought a few things online and I love every single one of them. I am super curious if the in-store inventory is consistent with the online selections because if not I would love to go in and shop in-person. I would keep an eye out for the guy who lives there but he was really nice so I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Anyway I love the clothes, love the designs and can't wait to shop again soon.”
