“I had the best experience working with Mary at Bridal Breeze! I went into the store not sure if what I was looking for even existed, and I found one that was perfect (plus several others that were also beautiful, just not exactly what I wanted). I think the store has fewer dresses that some of the other stores I went to, but they were all perfectly curated, so I was trying on one beautiful dress after another! They also post their entire inventory online, which was really useful for me beforehand, as I was trying to decide whether it was worth the drive from the south bay all the way up to the city. It definitely definitely was! They do not do alterations, but they have a few tailors who they recommend. I've heard horror stories about other shops ordering dresses multiple sizes too big so they can gouge you on alterations, so I'm happy to have avoided that conflict of interest. My dress pretty much fits, just needs some minor adjustments. Do note that the store is very small, so they can only handle one bride at a time. Definitely make an appointment before you go.”

“My spouse and I are attending a wedding soon where the dress code is "Desi Formal" and based on all the great Yelp reviews, we made our way to San Bruno to see what Akarshan has available. I love working with local, family-owned businesses rather than large chains and big retailers. And I found working with Harminder was awesome. She was ultra-friendly and told us that most of the men's wear is already at their new facility. They are in the process of moving to a new, right nearby, larger showroom. So, we walked over there and she took her time to show us many pieces. I was looking for a nice Sherwani outfit and had plenty to choose from. We went back to the store and met with the seamstress who will be making some slight adjustments - moving some buttons. Their prices are very fair for the beautiful pieces that they have. So excited to have discovered their store.”

“I love this store. The styles are very unique in a GOOD way. With how much time I spend in San Francisco I was surprised I hadn't heard of the store before now. I was recently at Noc Noc bar literally right down the street with a friend on a Saturday night and they had a really good DJ from the UK playing. I actually talked with him after he was done playing and he told me he lives a couple doors down in the same building as the store (Wild Feather). He invited me over but that wasn't something I do. I did however, check out the store a few days later with a friend. I have since bought a few things online and I love every single one of them. I am super curious if the in-store inventory is consistent with the online selections because if not I would love to go in and shop in-person. I would keep an eye out for the guy who lives there but he was really nice so I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Anyway I love the clothes, love the designs and can't wait to shop again soon.”
“I can't tell you what a treat going into the Fleetwood SF store on Clement is. Each time I'm down in the city it's one of my first stops ..that neighborhood is a joy and what Fleetwood has created & nurtured is a huge part of it! “This studio has been life changing for me! I started working out again after recovering from a pretty serious physical and mental trauma that had me laid up for three years. I was heavy, out of shape and so scared to enter a class with a bunch a of fitness junkies. The instructors and fellow clients have been wonderful. The classes cater to all and there is a huge range of ages , fitness levels and body types. All the instructors make a point to greet you by name and a big smile as you enter and are always ready to answer any questions. This positive vibe carries thru the entire class, they are on their toes paying attention and seem to be at my side whenever I am struggling. The owner Stephany is so sincere and warm and I knew from day one that she cared deeply about her clients. I am on my fourth month and getting stronger and happier with each class.”
“I absolutely LOVE this boutique. The clothes are made for comfort and flexibility. I invested (and continue to invest) in so many pieces because the clothes seem as if they are made for me. Always long enough, hits the curves right where I need them to…it’s amazing. The flexibility factor is real… I have one dress that I’ve worn in a park with tennis & a Jean jacket, to the club with boots, and to an evening event with different shoes & accessories. Her clothes are pragmatic, flexible, and fun at the same time. You can turn one item into many looks, expanding your wardrobe in ways unimaginable. “Great quality. I bought the Fuego Puffer and I will never use another brand. It’s light weight, and keeps the cold out. I have never had a good quality puffer. Would recommend for the cold season. The beanies are nice too. Always received compliments for the orange and purple one. Lastly, the batac 24 backpack was my best investment. It’s the perfect size to travel with, for school, and work. It has a laptop sleeve and pockets, that are intentional. Staff are thoughtful and informative. Saving up for the newer items!”

Drawn to the name, The Higher Consciousness, I found such supplements to elevate my mind. It's a specialty shop located in the eclectic and diverse Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. They carry a wide assortment of unique cbd, mushrooms, and plant medicines not found elsewhere, all reasonably priced. The shop owners are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to answering questions and making product suggestions based on your specific needs. You can also find an interesting assortment of cannabis and mushroom themed books, novelties, and gifts. I've been here a few times and truly recommend this place. “This is the last classic maritime store in the Fisherman's Wharf area. While everywhere else seems to have become a t-shirt shop, Frank's Fisherman sells authentic nautical items. Like a cool museum inside with a vast number of exciting items to browse. Also, lots of books, antiques, high end clothing are on display. A must stop shopping experience for real sailors, or anyone who is interested in the sea going lifestyle.”
“Not ONLY do they have beautiful clothing and accessories here, Kumi and the other staff at Sou Sou are the most kind hearted store clerks I've ever met.My daughter lost a little trinket in their bathroom sink (honestly, it was just a little light that came with a bubble tea), and they literally put everything aside to do whatever they could to try to retrieve it.The care they put into my daughter's feelings were consistent with the care they had put into me when I was looking for clothing.
