“My car was starting to shake/vibrate and I knew I needed to get something fixed. I initially took my car to another mechanic who gave me a long list of proposed repairs including new tires with a big price tag. They said the main reason why my car was shaking/vibrating was because they thought I had a bent rim on one of my wheels. I told them it was too much and they submitted a 2nd service proposal within my budget but not including new tires. Because I was not yet comfortable accepting their service proposal just yet, I decided to get a 2nd opinion and chose Shaffer's. And I'm so glad I did! He immediately said the shaking and vibration (as well as the car veering off to the left) was all because my tires were too worn down and coming apart. He said I didn't have a bent rim - it was because an air pocket had formed between the tire and the metal part of the wheel, causing the tire to bulge and thus the shaking/vibration. Sure enough, after 4 new tires, the veering and shaking was solved the car drove smoothly again! By choosing Shaffer's I was able to get a correct diagnosis of the problem and it fixed for a reasonable price!”

“I don't know what happened with some of those who left bad reviews. We've used this location for 3-4 years. We had one unit for most of that time, added a 2nd 10X10 for the last 6 months as we were in the process of a move. What worked the most for us was that the place is secure, you can't get in outside biz hours, place is clean and there is comfort in knowing the cameras are there. Anytime we needed service we got it, either from the Manager Cammy or anyone working at the desk. In our time there we never had any problems with the basic functionality, like the elevator, or using our code to get in. We compared with other local units when we first looked and settle on Broadway Self Storage, glad we did.”
