“It’s great to have a high quality shoe store in Simi!Matt and Christian at On Track are professional, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. They will make sure you get fitted to the right shoe for what you do. My wife and I have bought a few pairs of shoes there now and it’s always been an excellent experience. Beyond shoes, they also have plenty of interesting track gear and while I don’t throw a discus myself it was cool to see them for sale. Interestingly enough they also have a few cool t-shirts and when I commented on what a perfect t-shirt it would be for a friend of mine, except they didn’t have his specific sport showing, within days they had custom crafted one for me!Happy to highly recommend On Track and their great service!”

Steve, the owner, worked with me to resolve an issue I had with a pair of skis I purchased that had some manufacturing idiosyncrasies. Not only did he honor an exchange, he took the time out to understand what I needed and give me his personal time, despite the fact that he was not making (if not losing) money on this transaction. It's been a while since I've seen someone honor the customer like this -- and it's why I'll keep coming back. Big improvement in my game. Today I went again for improvement. Marianne was there and did a fantastic job, with the club and a few pointers-again! “I've been here 5 times now, and I can honestly say that Simi Batting Cages offer a better experience and better value over other cages in the area. I've been to cages in Newbury Park charging double for a lane that doesn't even include a pitching machine. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the long hours ensure everyone a chance to get on the schedule, whether it's solo time in the batting cages or team/small group time in the reserved lanes. I definitely recommend this place!”

“I came here to pick up an online purchase I made for a gift. I mentioned to the employee how I was shocked that their website said they were out of stock on the item, but within an hour of ordering it for online pickup, it was ready at the location. She was incredibly friendly and helpful and mentioned that the store stock online is very unreliable and to always call the store first. Even though it was clearly not her fault (or the store's for that matter) she was very apologetic for the mistake. It was a wonderful customer service experience. If I need to get another item for my wife, I'll be sure to to come here because of that. And, if by any chance they ever start selling men's exercise clothes I'll absolutely shop here for myself.”

She offered other suggestions at other locations that might have them in stock. I thought that was really nice of her. “My latest adventure here was purchasing a compact treadmill. The manager and his staff are very professional and approachable! They let me take the treadmill for a "trial run" before I decided to make the purchase. Afterwards, one of the staff even helped me load it into my car. Whenever I've gotten equipment here, they've always been happy to offer assistance, and I really appreciate how this business makes fitness accessible. It's smaller, so the staff is more available for questions, and they're very professional when it comes to buying and selling equipment. If I'm going to buy fitness equipment, I always come here first!”

“I I used to play tennis in college and high school. Joined this center due to closeness to my home and now it is one of my favorites. The live ball class is great fun! The location is very nice and classes are well organized. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. My son also takes JD3 classes here, and we are seeing his gradual improvement!”

Most interactions I’ve encountered within every corner either suggests something to me, directs me immediately to where I want to or better yet sells me the option I didn’t I wanted. I think having people who work here have experience using their products and enjoys it helps with that customer service experience and they’re always kind enough to go out their help you with no charge sometimes for small labors that can be fixed which shows how intentionally they hire they’re workers. This was the first REI I’ve been to and I never stopped coming back.”

“I came here after an exhaustive search at Nordstroms and a horrendous experience at Macys for a decent suit. Robert was the most compassionate, patient and most well versed person in suits. The minute that I walked in, he immediately walked over and assisted me with selecting the right suit and pair of shoes. He listened to all of my requirements and was able to narrow down the best suit for my needs in just a few seconds. Their onsite tailor came out and took all my measurements and even had my suit ready before the week was over! I have a slightly overweight and stocky upper body type -- their tailor worked his magic and made all the right adjustments to my suit to ensure a comfortable and relaxing fit. If you're looking for a cheap one-time suit, this place isn't for you. Their clothes are all imported and are therefore much pricier than department store clothes, though you're paying for the quality and precision craftsmanship. I would rather invest in this amazing line of clothes than keep buying overpriced luxury brand clothing from department stores that lose their color after one wash and fit awkwardly. I highly recommend this clothing store to anyone looking to enhance their wardrobe and stick out amongst the crowd.”

“When I hear the buzzy phrase "support local," Second Wind Sports is what immediately comes to mind! My son has been playing Little League baseball for a little more than a year now and 95% of his equipment has come from this shop. Could I go to Big 5 or Dick's? Sure. Is buying on Amazon mind-numbingly easy? Of course. But this place has great finds and deals, and, importantly, *heart.* They have lots more than just baseball stuff, too. Everything from surfing, skiing, soccer, camping, bikes, and skates - it's all here. While the prices aren't as cheap as, say, the semi-annual LA Kids' Consjgnment sale, they are MORE than reasonable, and everything is in good condition! I have honestly found myself wandering into the store on occasion - without my son! - just to see if they have anything new in stock that I can take off their hands. The only suggestion I might make to the owners is that they consider carrying gently used dance gear! It is a sport, after all, and kids grow out of dance shoes and other equipment just as quickly as they grow out of cleats. I would happily shop for my daughters dance supplies here, if I could! :-)”

“It's been awhile since I have been to a retail store to pick up a paddle or racket! And truly the only way to get outfitted with the best fit, unless you tried a demo, is to go to a store and experienced in person! With a recommendation from a fellow pickleball mate, I ended up at this store in downtown Calabasas! From the start, I was greeted very kindly by the store manager and a fellow staff member! The manager was very knowledgeable of the paddle trends, the game and fit for players! The store had many choices in stock, and others could be had quickly from vendors! The store had a Black Friday deal going on and demo paddles for half off! Many thanks for the manager in letting us know these deals! The purpose of this trip was for a paddle but was almost lured into buying a tennis racket too; the store offers the top brand of rackets! Also you can get your rackets stringed here! Hard to find that service these days! With great service, conversation and honesty provided, we will definitely be back and tell our friends about this gem! Plus the parking in downtown was a perk on farmers market day!”
