“We had our wedding reception at Sterling Hills by Wedgewood Weddings and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place. We looked at a few different venues, but as soon as we visited Sterling Hills, we just knew it was the one.
Everyone there was so helpful from the beginning, but Paola especially made such a big difference for us. She was always there to answer our questions, help us figure things out, and most importantly, she really listened to what we wanted. We had a lot of ideas for our wedding, and she helped us actually bring those ideas to life.
When the wedding day finally came, everything turned out so beautiful and pretty much exactly how we pictured it. We were able to enjoy our reception and spend time with our family and friends without constantly worrying about everything behind the scenes.
We’re so thankful to Paola and the whole Sterling Hills team for making our wedding reception such a special and memorable day. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, definitely go check out Sterling Hills!”
“Just got married here July 2026 and it was better than expected! They have a list of preferred vendors you must choose from and a mandandatory catering/bar, but our guests are still raving about the food/drink and the rest of the vendors were top tier.
Their rental selection was excellent and we enjoyed all the options to choose from during the planning. The coordinator was very pleasant and professional the whole way. She worked with our own planner and helped make our special day go as smooth as possible.
The only thing that was off-putting was the owner who lives onsite. She came down during the last couple hours of our wedding with her dog and helped herself to our food, deserts, and coffee bar without invitation. She also interrupted the beginning of our private last dance. Everything else was was dream!”
“I was having bad experiences with various LGS's until I finally found myself at Zander's. Every experience I have had with the staff has been amazing. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they care and love about what they do. Special shout out to Jeanne who is always the BEST every time she helps me out! They also have the best prices and a great, sealed selection. They do not sell singles as this is more of a game store than a card shop, but it's always very clean with a nice atmosphere for events and general play.”
“Really nice course. Had a great time playing as a guest. There are a lot of blind shots and no course map so that makes it pretty difficult for your first time playing, you really need to rely on the members knowledge of the course. We had a great time and look forward to trying to visit again in the future”
“We went on a day where the house was closed to view, but my grandfather and I had a lovely time sitting in the garden areas and reading the plaques while walking around. Peaceful atmosphere with beautiful flowers and other foliage. Will definitely be going back.”
“Truly an amazing unique experience if you're looking to get married and Ventura county. Seemingly in the middle of farm country there is a beautiful rustic historical ranch home that is the setting for the perfect wedding. Highly recommend.”
“Went there for a sports banquet. Had never been there before.
Very pretty grounds, ample parking. The venue itself is very nice and clean. They have a stage area. A good sound system and screen so everyone in the auditorium could see clearly.
Plenty of restrooms. You do have to use their cater. I would recommend this venue if you're planning on having any type of social event.”

“I've seen some music shows at Cantara. The golden ale that I've had is very tasty. I haven't tried any wine or pizza. The chicken drumettes and wings are tasty but not plentiful. The tri-tip tater tots are decent. The service is friendly.”
“I met with the owner today and he showed me around. This place is the perfect location for any type of get together that you can think of. Next to 99 cent store, it's huge. Kitchen, bar, stage, dance floor and a large outdoor area. You need a place to have a party, this is it.”
“First time coming out to this particular air show.
The weather was great (a little warm and humid but nothing unbearable) upon our arrival and check-in was quick and easy.
I appreciated the variety of food trucks/vendors spread out throughout the venue.
A lot of little shops/tents ⛺ to look at in-between the air performances.
The cars on display were really cool ? to look at, it's amazing how far the design of automobiles has come throughout the century.
The airshow was a little less than stellar for me compared to other airshows I've been to in the past but overall it was fairly entertaining.
I enjoyed walking about checking out planes that have flown throughout history.
Getting out of the venue was easy ? and we left feeling good at the end of the day.”

“Location wise, this place wasnt exactly off the highway and there are several turns to get back onto the highway or any restaurant nearby.
The room I had was very spacious and the amenities here were fine.
Staff was very friendly.”

“My teenage so and I had to stay there for 3 nights recently when we had water damage to our condo nearby. They quickly accommodated us, provided a suite (with two separate rooms/baths and a kitchen/living area separating them). Derek was amazingly professional, kind, and knowledgeable. He was so easy to work with and very polite. I also worked with Marian during the day, as well as Lynn. Everyone was very helpful. Derek would make a great manager. He provided excellent service.”

“Tgey are really fast at giving services and fixing things. Rooms are a little old/outdated but they have what a hotel room needs to have. Rooms are clean but not spotless. Cleaning could be better.
Parking is $12 per day”
