Zander's Game House is a welcoming destination in Camarillo for friends and families who enjoy tabletop board gaming. With a diverse collection of games, including classics like Chess and Monopoly as well as complex titles like Scythe, there is something for everyone. The staff, including Jeanne and Craig, are friendly and helpful, offering game recommendations and assisting with special orders. For just $7, visitors can enjoy all-day play in a clean and organized environment, making it an excellent value.
Zander's is also a fantastic spot for birthdays and special events, providing a fun, screen-free bonding experience for kids and adults alike. While it has a great selection of board games, some reviews note that the inventory for card games, especially Magic: The Gathering, could be stronger. However, the store is praised for its inviting atmosphere, quiet hum of voices, and accommodating staff, who are eager to help newcomers discover the joy of gaming. Whether for a casual visit, a monthly meetup, or a special occasion, Zander's Game House is a place to create lasting memories while enjoying the world of tabletop gaming.
