She spent a few hours making sure every bit was gone so it wouldn't come back, and it didn't. We were very happy with and thankful for her work, and the price was very reasonable.

Chateau Davell Winery
3020 Vista Tierra Dr, CaminoMy wife and I have now found our new favorite winery, Chateau Davell. What struck us when we first went in was the incredible artwork painted by the owner, Erik, that gave it a warm ambiance. Then seeing the same paintings on the labels, with each telling a story about one of his family members enhanced the experience. Then as the icing to the cake, the wines were really good, making us subscribe to their wine club. It just got better as they have a food menu to die for. We just needed a small appetizer so we got the figs with a burrata cheese (?) topped with hot honey and balsamic vinegar. It was delightful.

4110 Carson Road, CaminoThis restaurant was amazing. The food here was better than Solvang. We started with an excellent homemade chicken rice soup, followed by an awesome sausage sampler with perfect mustard. My son had the wiener schnitzel which he said was superb. I had the rouladen which was very good. The carrots and potato pancake that accompanied it were perfect. Added to this was an outstanding Oktoberfest craft beer (which is impossible to find at this time of year) that completed our meal. Helen, our server was on point with her recommendations. Overall a marvelous dining experience.

3544 Carson Rd #20, CaminoOne beautiful fall day after apple picking we stopped by Highway 50 brewery for snacks and ice cold beer. Order at the counter and buy a cute glass if you want, I did. Easy to find and park. Service was friendly. They have a schedule with activities local bands & comedy were listed while we were there.

Nello Olivo Winery, Camino Tasting Room
3544 Carson Road Suite 10, CaminoQuaint tasting room with an amazing wine selection leaning towards Italian varietals, a much needed departure from the French heavy wines in wine country. The owner is not only incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about his product, so we enjoyed the wines even more than at a normal tasting room, but he's also passionate about treating customers as if they were part of his family. We will definitely return!!

Nice bit of heat, left a little sweat on the brow! Also had one their beers to wash it down, and it was fantastic as well. Good stop!

Apple Ridge Farms - Apple Hill #20
1800 Larsen Dr, CaminoCame here on a Monday. It was still pretty busy (perhaps because it was the day before Veteran's day and kids had the day off). Didn't get any food here except kettle corn, but they have a large bakery which looked nice. They also have lunch food like sandwiches. My boyfriend and his friend had a tri-tip and something else I can't remember and I think they said it was pretty mid. I would only come to Apple Hill for bakery, though.
We went on the nature trail, which was very nice. The zinnias are well past their prime, though (November), so if you want to see them at their peak, come in September or so. That's when I hope to come back because most of them were dying since their annuals. It was still pretty, though, and there were bees and painted lady butterflies taking part in the nectar of the remaining ones.
There's also a lot of crafts here, if you're into that.
I would probably only come back here for the nature trail and maybe some bakery. But it was very scenic and a very nice place to have a picnic. Looking forward to seeing the zinnias in peak bloom next year.

Hidden Star Camino - Apple Hill #23
2740 Cable Road, CaminoWe absolutely loved this place! The owner was so nice and welcoming, and took the time to greet us and chat with us. The service was wonderful, and everyone was so friendly.
The donuts and apple juice were SOOO good! 🍎🍩 Everything we tried was delicious.
And if you have kids, this place is a must! It is VERY kid-friendly, and the little kids area is amazing. I loved that it’s different from a typical playground and encourages imagination, creativity, and good old-fashioned dirt play. My little one had such a great time exploring and playing!
Such a wonderful family-friendly spot in Apple Hill. We will definitely be back!
