Bob's Towing Service provides terrible service. I waited over 3 1/2 hours after being told to expect the driver to arrive in 30 to 45 minutes. I decided to try someone else and called Dicks and they came within 30 minutes. Bob's never bothered to get in touch with me. Avoid these guys at all cost.

So unprofessional, I had a tow in SJ County, the only positive was the answering service team member, seemed like a younger woman but she was so professional
& helpful in every way, later had to deal with the tow person and owner, & they have no idea what they're doing, driver was rude, owner was rude, untrained & uneducated. 0 stars. You guys literally suck at your job & should get into a different industry.

Charged way too much for Towing the car and keeping it for less than a day at their place (I didn't go through insurance). Bad and rude customer service (similar to what others here are complaining).

The worst tow truck experience I've had. Driver (Roy) was extremely rude and didn't seem like he really knew what he was doing, and even managed to damage one of the other cars at the shop by door dinging it since he couldn't fit in. I was told it would be a 15-20 min wait(after calling about an hour before). I then got no further updates and took the driver 45 mins after the 20 mins was up. Was also $250 for a 15 mile tow, which is absurd. would definitely recommend another company or even doing it yourself would be cheaper and less of a hassle.

I had to pay $700 for just getting the car towed to their place on day 1 around 5pm and picking it back up around 11am the next day. They charged me ~450 for towing and rest for 2 days of storage - much higher cost than I expected. Moreover, I just wanted to get the car towed back via AAA to my home and they didn't make it easy to get the car released to the AAA dispatched Towing company. They could have told me the entire process or presented the options I had up front. Instead I (and the AAA dispatch company) had to scramble to figure out how to get the car released to comply with the process Bob's Towing told in the last minute. Please be mindful of high cost of towing. For comparison, AAA provided Towing companies are much more professional and provide much better customer service.

I have neve seen a ruder person. Asked us to move our car when we were in the middle of pumping gas so he could back up to a disabled car. We told him we were almost done and then he went into a rant. We are two respectful 70+ year olds and he was really belligerent. I told him that I hoped he wasn't the owner and he said he was (which I don't believe because he won't stay in business with his attitude). Continued to rant and rave until we left. Don't use this company. Hopefully few, if any, will have the need to meet this openly antagonist driver. Several other motorists were dismayed by his behavior.

The guy came, he called, I could not answer but ran outside to let him know. He left. Right in front of me. He saw me. I then went behind him and kept waving. Then I realized he's ignoring me intentionally. It was set by my insurance

Very disrespectful drivers. They act like you're a burden to them when getting your vehicle towed. Hope to never come in contact with this company again since your drivers dont care to respect customers and their company that puts food on their table. Sorry bob. Maybe have some meetings on common courtesy when interacting with customers.

Only good thing to say is that the woman I spoke with for dispatch was friendly. Only reason I was using Bob’s was because GEICO arranged it. When the driver arrived he was already belligerent towards my mother who was witnessing the tow for me since I had to be at work. He exaggerated any damage that already existed on the car (minor scratches and a couple tiny dents) when making us sign a waiver. He tried to say major scratches and dents ALL OVER the car. When we disputed him over this he began verbally assaulting my mother. He finally towed the car to Steven’s creek Toyota, but upon arriving claimed that Bob’s policy does not allow him to drop the car to their service area due to having to drive past the new cars, or something. He continued to be belligerent towards my mother and the Toyota employees who were trying to work with him. Told me over the phone that they’ve tried to “assault” him before. Ended up taking my car back to my residence and continued to verbally assault my mother. Extremely unprofessional, I’d advise using any other towing company. No idea why GEICO works with them.
