“Holy Cross is a very special place. Facilities and teaching staff are unmatched. Having one site who could handle before and aftercare with drop-offs enabled my husband and I to RTW with confidence. I was very grateful they accepted all denominations, and simply told my child that they believe one religion and we believe in another and he was fine. The summer camps and vacation week coverage was great, too. Often My child would beg to go, so he could have fun and maintain a structured day. Thank you so much HCCC!”

“My daughter took to this school so quickly. She was warmly welcomed into the class, and quickly felt at home. The heads of the school are actively involved in daily activities, including morning prayers, are genuine, and clearly love this school and want what's best for the students. Parents have been friendly, and there are lots of opportunities for extra curricular activities for various age levels as well. Great, well rounded curriculum. Strong presence of Jesus in the classroom and in the teachers' hearts. Even the Pledge of Allegiance is done in the mornings. Kids learn respect, honor, and love, plus the importance of doing their best.”

The principal ( Mrs Chadha), teachers and staff are very compassionate and caring and ensure the overall well-being of the students. We've been blessed with amazing class and speciality teachers. Want to give a special shout out to our current 2nd grade class teacher, Mrs. Khandelwal, who is not just an exceptional academic teacher, but also inculcates great values and confidence within her kids. “Our son has been with Bright Horizons for 2.5 years now and he absolutely loves it there. The teachers are very well qualified, well trained, and very caring. We are also very happy with the management. They are organized, very professional and are very good with communication (which is great). We get daily updates about our son via their app and email, with pictures and videos.We always get a positive vibe from teachers and staff at the school during drop-off and pickup. We know that taking care of babies, toddler and preschoolers is not an easy job. It requires a lot of patience, dedication and can often be extremely frustrating. Being a teacher is not for everybody and i would like to give everyone here a big kudos for doing such a fantastic job.Overall, Bright Horizons has exceeded our expectation and we couldn't be happier to have found this gem of a place.”

I loved that it was a smaller and more intimate preschool, and that my boys had "morning circle" together before breaking out into their age appropriate rooms (made it a much easier transition into preschool for my 2 year old).I had toured a handful of preschools before making my decision, and ultimately I just felt that the LGA teachers were the warmest and most loving.My son's always loved how well the classroom was decorated for the various holidays. “Is it weird that I'm Yelping about a school? Well...when in Rome. Let me give you some perspective: I'm from a tiny redneck town in Arizona...we're talking about 3,000 people in the whole town and a graduating class of 100. We had the basic sports (football, baseball, track, wrestling, basketball, and soccer for ONE year), but nothing cool like swimming, golf, tennis, or any of the other sports that Bay Area schools boast. I didn't know what an API score was when I moved here, and I didn't know that I needed to fill out reams of paperwork to enroll my kid in school...including more proof of residence that I was really comfortable in divulging? I have had my daughter in the GAMUT of schools the Bay Area has to offer..."Program Improvement" status schools, parent coop schools, "pretty nice" schools, and now, a Distinguished School. I'm sure that last one speaks for itself, but I am blown away by something new that this school offers...constantly. From the iPads for every student in class, to the counselors that are always on hand, the extra help that is always offered, and the easy online access to EVERYTHING that has to do with what is going on with my daughter in school. Last year, we were having some "issues", so I informed the vice principal and a couple others and before I knew it, there was a meeting with every single one of my daughter's teachers, the vice principal, counselors, me, AND my daughter. Man, that cleared things up SO FAST. It blows my mind that I have access to my daughter's teachers like that. They are ALL so caring, compassionate, and invested in the success of the students there. They offer themselves up in any way they can in order to help these kids...now..."these kids" aren't all awesome. A lot of "these kids" have nannies, more access to electronics than is appropriate (my daughter has been the ONLY one in her class without a cell phone since 5th grade), and could really use a healthy dose of reality, in my opinion. It doesn't seem to phase anyone at this school. There is a special place in heaven for people willing to teach over-privileged middle schoolers. Seriously. I don't know how I got lucky enough to find an affordable place to live in this school district, but I did, and I've been around the Bay Area enough to know how lucky I really am...and why I have to go to such lengths to prove that I live here.”
