The Monarch Cove is set on a cliff in Capitola with an ocean view of the Pacific Ocean. We stayed in the Monarch Grove, a romantic getaway within 3 miles from the Shadowbrook, so you can take advantage of their free taxi service and get picked up in an old school Shadowbrook cab. I highly recommend this for a weekend getaway!

Amazing location with a cozy feel. They were fantastic and easily accommodated a late check in. The views are spectacular!

My husband surprised me with a birthday weekend getaway here. We stayed in the Holiday House because we brought our pup. We had SUCH a good time! Our dog did too the enclosed backyard was fabulous for a pet friendly room. It was a quiet weekend and the service was excellent. I am already looking at dates for next year.
