“I love this shop! It is the perfect place for finding a gift for others (or yourself) and everyone who works there is absolutely amazing. Sometimes I go in just for a little bit of sunshine and a chat. (And then I usually see a million things that I want.) The jewelry Neiki makes is extraordinary and all one of a kind. And there is something for everyone there - you always discover fun finds wandering around the shop. Also the prices are great, especially considering that it is a boutique in Solana Beach and that so much of what is in the store is handmade. Such a fantastic, lovely place filled with lovely people. “I came to this store because they are one of a limited number of distributors who carry ambre essence. I was just in town for the day and disappointed when I discovered they had run out of the essential oil. Both Joni and Susie were there and were both friendly and welcoming. They offered to mail it to me when they got it in stock free of charge! They even sent me home with a sample lotion for the inconvenience. I recently called to check in on the order and found they had delivered it but I didn't receive it. I hate to think someone stole it but somehow it didn't get to me. So when I called they investigated and sent me the tracking information. Since I didn't get it they are sending me another one even though it wasn't their fault. I love how much they care about their customer and go out of their way to provide amazing customer service. I would recommend this place 10 out of 10. And if you are around check out the ambre blends, they are amazing!! Thanks jonie and Susie. And sorry for making things difficult for you!”

“Needed some thicker socks for riding to prevent my boots from chaffing so I popped down to Sock District! I've shopped there in the past and really enjoy the variety of sock designs. This time, the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helped answer a question or two about thicker socks they offered. I picked out three pairs, which you can see below. It's hard to say which are my favorite! I got some really good info and walked out with a bunch of fun new socks. Can't beat that!”

“During a girls weekend my sister and I visited Matti d's. I was looking for a few dresses to wear to special events this summer (wedding and rehearsal dinner). I had looked at all the major dept. stores and was very discouraged. I picked up one dress, decided to try it on and we were off. Jax helped me style it with shoes, etc. and it was perfect. One down. She next picked up an amazing retro purple (!) dress with pleats and bell sleeves. It was perfect!! In fact, my sister said it was the most beautiful and flattering dress she had ever seen me wear. “This is my go to place for gift giving. It's a boutique shop that has limited their inventory to unique items at an affordable price. If you're interested in department store volumes of generic choices, this isn't the place. The styles are great for 20 to 40 year-olds because it borders on boho chic to surfer gal vibes. Been shopping here for years since my gals were in college and now are in their 30's. They too love shopping there and have never had problems with sizing for small slim frames. The staff have always been pleasant and low key, providing assistance when needed. They also have a customer rewards program with a frequent buyer card that gets stamped after each purchase. When a threshold is met, you get dollars off your next purchase. If you want unique pieces and love getting compliments on your clothing, this is the place for you. I highly recommend.”

“I happened to be back in Cardiff, and ran into fowler's for quick directions. I ended up shopping around and doing some market research while having a very lovely conversation with the cool owner of the boutique, Chris. There are a bunch of cool bits and bobs, surf clothing, and all things laidback and chill. It is very much Cardiff in a boutique. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and absolutely lovely. I will be back (hopefully Wednesday) when I have more time to shop. Gotta support good folks! Btw: This boutique is near Cardiff seaside market, so if you're around to pick up some crack, the colloquial term for the best Tri tip in the world, stop by and shop at fowlers. It's a really rad shop.”
