“We were up in the area for a staycation. I convinced my family to let me quickly check out this record shop. "Quickly" ha. Dug around for a bit and left with a few records and a shirt. Decent selection and great staff. Prices were reasonable for the stuff (I had my discogs wantlist up while digging around). Definitely worth a stop when in the area.”

“Mark and his team upgraded my desktop computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and at my request installed an SSD hard drive to improve performance on my 7-year-old computer. I had my computer back within 2 days for well under the initially quoted price. Mark was also very helpful over the phone within the week following to answer a few questions I had about using my upgraded computer. I would use Repair Center/Carlsbad again for my computer needs. “The company I worked for (Rolltechs Specialty Vehicle) recently wanted to buy some radios for easier communication between the office and the shop. We found 2 way direct and ordered some. When we did not receive any tracking, I called and found out the ones we ordered were not in stock. After inquiring and some homework, Taylor (the employee that was helping me) found some way cheaper, same tech that we were looking for. We had already paid for the original ones, so when we switched our order, they used the money we paid for the original ones, for the new ones. We received the money back with no issues, as well as our radios. Apparently the frequency we are on had more traffic than we knew, so we called Taylor back and they sent a label for us to send them back to get them re-programmed.I have no received them back yet, but will update when I do. But so far, this company has exceeded every expectation that we have had, and we are excited to continue doing business with them in the future!Shout out to Taylor for dealing with my limited understanding of radios, and Shawn (I believe his manager) for making it all make sense!”

“Easily recognizable and accessed from Coast Hwy This 711 stays busy without producing lines at the register.It is the only 711's I know of right now that have a small selection of liquor pints and 5ths behind the register. Expect to pay more, but this is the only place ( B/S Winco ) where you can purchase liquor until 2am.Friendly Staff. Competent and capable. I was shorted 500 on a money card once and the issue was taken seriously and resolved swiftly. Albeit the next day.Down the street Circle K is staffed by younger, 25 - 30, ppl. 711 has a more mature staff and the difference is huge by comparison.Police frequent the parking lot sporadically 10 - 4am. They don't harass anyperson. But, steer clear if you have good reason, like driving intoxicated. Just Sayin”

“I always have the best experience at this store. I do not understand the low reviews by other customers in this store. This is one of the busiest retail stores still thriving in a world that's gone mostly online. These people are harassed threatened and degraded day after day. And they still show up every day to fix your devices and sell you new products. Your lack of preparation or planning isn't their fault. Be kinder and maybe you'll get better service. I have never had the employees at this store treat me disrespectfully or not fix my problem. I am an Apple customer for life because their product is superior and always will be. You get back what you put out there - it would behoove more people to remember that.”

“I received my new iPhone in the mail, but was unable to fully activate the phone so to transfer all from my old iPhone to the new iPhone. Despite multiple attempts that lead to repeat "circular prompts": no successful iPhone activation. The next morning I arrived shortly after Verizon shop on Marron Rd [hadn't been there in years] to continue my struggle to transfer, with guidance. The manager, Mike, greeted me; listened to the story of circular prompts, no phone activation, and then courteously gave me concise helpful pointers. As I sat at one of the tables navigating the process, he checked in with me between arriving customers. I departed with that daunting transfer process completed. And with a very appreciative nod to Mike for his outstanding courtesy and attentiveness.”

“That "bitchy" lady that all of these reviews are about is actually awesome, personable, and very kind! I've been coming here for years and the people running this gas station are beyond friendly and helpful. It gets busy, and things happen out if anyone's control. My advice, if the "residents" can't be real and feel they deserve unreasonable service. Take your business a little ways south and get your "the customer is always right, ego boosting, fake service. If you work at a gas station, you have to be loud and proud.”
