“The older gentleman working the late late shift was such a kind and sweet person it made me stop and slow down and appreciate his kindness in a world where everyone is rushing to get here or there and barely shares a word with people they interact with. It made me want to go out of my way to that gas station instead of the one just up the street from me where the staff is snappy and impatient. I wish I had gotten his name he deserves recognition!”

“Ladies inside are FANTASTIC. I did have a problem with the guy, explained 3x what I needed, he just kept a puzzled look on his face, and took out the empty tank, when I needed the full tank carried to the other side. I speak French and Spanish, but I knew that wouldn't help. He was yes mam on everything I said, but didn't quite process it. I'm betting the older of the 2 ladies was the manager! Very accommodating √”

“I've been coming to this fuel mart since 2008. It's been my pleasure to be around so many caring and respectful employees.....the jams the line the speakers are just that great tunes and gets the spirit smiling. I have had no bad experience but nothing but laughter and smiles. Suzy is so awesome down to earth business minded and truly cares for her guest that enter the establishment. Also the coffee selection surpasses and gets the soul in motion. So join them for some snacks and grill experience or just a cup of Joe. A Selection spectacular of items.”

“Easily recognizable and accessed from Coast Hwy This 711 stays busy without producing lines at the register.It is the only 711's I know of right now that have a small selection of liquor pints and 5ths behind the register. Expect to pay more, but this is the only place ( B/S Winco ) where you can purchase liquor until 2am.Friendly Staff. Competent and capable. I was shorted 500 on a money card once and the issue was taken seriously and resolved swiftly. Albeit the next day.Down the street Circle K is staffed by younger, 25 - 30, ppl. 711 has a more mature staff and the difference is huge by comparison.Police frequent the parking lot sporadically 10 - 4am. They don't harass anyperson. But, steer clear if you have good reason, like driving intoxicated. Just Sayin”

Much better than some of the actual drive through car washes around. I like that it includes a vacuum station too. Not something you see often at a Gas station. I selected the $11 wash with tire shine.”

“I am happy with this place. Its very busy in Carlsbad mostly cars everywhere. So AM PM is a great rest. I got a small meat pizza and Pepsi 20 Oz for $6. What a deal. I like their coffee deals too.”

“The shell station and attached convenience store are both well maintained and clean. There is a huge selection of snacks and drinks to choose from and an attached drive through car wash. The staff was also helpful and nice. There are a ton of pumps to fill up at.Bathrooms for customers located on the side of the building, just ask for the key. There is also fresh made coffee at this gas station. Lots of food near by if you need something more substantial that snacks. The gas statohas all the typical amenities you would expect, but also very clean.If you don't need gas, there is plenty of parking near by.”

“That "bitchy" lady that all of these reviews are about is actually awesome, personable, and very kind! I've been coming here for years and the people running this gas station are beyond friendly and helpful. It gets busy, and things happen out if anyone's control. My advice, if the "residents" can't be real and feel they deserve unreasonable service. Take your business a little ways south and get your "the customer is always right, ego boosting, fake service. If you work at a gas station, you have to be loud and proud.”

“This location is my favorite for stopping at in the evening even though prices are usually a few cents higher because it is very clean, well-lit, and never any panhandlers. I am all for helping others but it is nice to be able to just pull in and get gas and go without being approached.”
