“I don’t even know where to start....Royal Montessori School of Oceanside has been amazing for our daughter. We have had experiences with many daycares and none of them compare. Our daughter is in the Infants class and has been there for over a year now and her teachers have been nothing but professional, loving, and passionate about the development of children. They hold very detailed parent teacher conferences that give you the upmost confidence that your child is in great care. The events that they hold for the children are well planned and thought out as well. The daycare staff have always been accommodating to our financial hardships when in need. I recommend this daycare to anyone that wants they’re child in great hands!”

“Oceanside First Presbyterian Church is the most warm and welcoming church that I have ever been to. They have an excellent Plan Your Visit program to make sure you are greeted (and seated with a member if you choose) and welcomed into the congregation. What I remember most from my first visit was the friendliness of the congregation, especially the member who sat next to me and guided me throughout the service. I also enjoyed the three-minute congregation greetings (every weekly service). I loved the positive sermon themes, the Praise Band, the Choir, even the way this church distributes communion by intinction. Pastor Mike is an exceptional Pastor encouraging the congregation every week to be more like Jesus. His sermons are inspiring and comforting. I encourage all of you to be part of his current sermon series "Journey through the Gospel of Mark: Are You Ready For Jesus."”

“Every teacher at the Learning Experience takes an active interest in the children, even if they are not their primary teacher. They work hard to make the children feel comfortable during drop off time so it's a good handoff for parent and child. I love the different activities that even the infants get to participate in. We've had a great experience!”

“This place is the best daycare on earth. We had a really terrible experience at Childtime Oceanside. I found this place calling around, came in to do a walk-through with my daughter, and was just amazed with the floor, layout the friendliness of the owners and teachers. I love how big the playground is and they do have modern toys and things for the kids to play on, all the kids seem very happy my daughter included. I have nothing but excellent things to say about this place. Every time I pick up my daughter she was so happy runs to me smiling and giggling these people really care and will take great care of your children. Thank you so much sweet busy bees, you are a godsent.”

“I really can't speak highly enough of Shining Stars. My children have been going there since my eldest (now almost 5) was 4 months old. As a full-time working mom, the most important quality of childcare to me is that it allows my children to feel safe and loved. Shining Stars does that. We recently attempted to move my youngest into a different daycare closer to our home after family medical issues made it challenging to drive across town for childcare. I had my child in the other center for 1 day before I texted Shams, the owner of Shining Stars, pretty much begging for our spot back. Shining Stars is worth driving across town for. What that experience taught me is that not all daycare/preschools are created equal. What makes Shining Stars unique is that the teachers and staff truly treat your children like their own family. They will feel so loved, comforted and cared for at Shining Stars. The same cannot be said for the larger more corporate daycare/preschool centers in Oceanside.”

“CFC learning centers is the best. I was nervous to start my daughter in daycare as I kept her home with me the first year but Mrs. Shoneil really eased my mind. After my daughter’s first day she didn’t want to leave when I came to pick her up. Ms. Mary the infant/toddler teacher is so sweet and loving and my daughter adores her. Every morning she is so happy to see Ms. Mary and immediately takes her hand to go play. All the staff genuinely care about the children. People have complimented me on how advanced my daughter is and how great her social skills are and I really have to give kudos to her daycare and staff for helping encourage and nurture that behavior. They make sure they provide nutritious meals for the kids which also eases my mind that I’m not having to scramble and pack her meals to bring. As a busy, working mom it’s extremely difficult to trust someone else with your child for over 8 hours a day, 5 days a week…but I’m happy we’ve found a center that works for us. Thank you CFC!”

Each plant, statue, and fountain tells a story, making the gardens a serene retreat. On the other side of the compound is the cemetery, which I also really enjoyed, but I know it's not for everyone. It's fun to see the dates on the headstones and ponder back to yesteryear.The history of Mission San Luis Rey is palpable in every corner. As one of the largest missions in California, it holds centuries of stories within its walls. The museum offers a deep dive into the mission's past, from its founding in 1798 by Father Fermin Lasuén to its role in the community today. “My child has been attending this center for over a year and we love it! She has learned so much! Previously to attending this daycare, she had a nanny. I am so glad we decided to send her to daycare instead because I can tell she has really thrived. She has learned many songs, words, manners, and to clean up her toys! The amount she has learned from being around other children is invaluable. She is only a young toddler, but when she gets home from school she excitedly tells me her friends names, or sometimes shows off art projects she made. It makes me feel good that I know she is somewhere that makes her happy and she is also learning. Not sure about the guy with the lead post below, and I honestly panicked a bit after seeing that. I did some research and looks like that was one faucet in the whole building, it has been placed out of order since finding that out, kids have a different water source now, and there is a new director since then. I have no concerns about my daughters safety while she is there. I fully trust the staff with my child's needs. It is conveniently located on almost the border of Vista and Oceanside, which works great for us.”

“Family Run business... all I can say is these people have taken great care of my babies. Starting off with them at 4 months old. It rolled over to daycare here and has continued to be an amazing experience. They no longer take care of them as they are 5 & 7 years old now but they did provide pick up service form school to home until last month and that was a big help to us. These people know how to handle kids with care. Many thanks to Laura, Cheryl, Juanita & Eduardo for all the love you have given my babies. They miss you all. “Absolutely love this place! My daughter has been going here since she was one and is in the three year old class now. The teachers are all so friendly and say hello to her as soon as she walks in the door. They do so many cute activities with the kids and I enjoy bringing home the artwork. Now that my daughters in the three year old class they are focusing more on preparation for preschool. I will be sad when she no longer goes here.”

“My child has been attending Children’s Paradise (Oceanside) for about 2 years now and I could not have found a greater child care facility. The staff is professional, empathetic, kind and truly cares about each child. The facility is always clean and well maintained. Miss Lina, the site Director has been an integral part of my child's developmental growth by helping my family navigate and connect with community resources to help my child thrive and be happy. WIthout the help and guidance of Miss Lina I would be completely lost on my own trying to navigate the school system. Mr. Philip, the behavior specialist at the Oceanside facility is just amazing!!! His patience and knowledge has been one of the key components in the developmental and emotional growth of my child. Ms. Lupe is so compassionate, patient and truly cares for each child and is not only seen but felt through her kind spirit. The kids truly trust and love her. Ms. Kate takes a positive approach daily with patience, kindness and heartfelt compassion which has enabled my child to trust and love her so much. Ms. Ashley is basically my child's secondary mom. Her ability to talk to, understand and teach each child is part of what makes this center so amazing. I am grateful and so happy my child attends this facility and would highly recommend to any parent with childcare needs.”

“We've been with La Petite for 7 years between both of my kids attending. Hands down the best facility to bring your kids. From Susie the director, to the teachers. They all do an incredible job each and everyday. The connection and passion they have taking care and teaching each child. I 10/10 recommend this facility. “The most fun and nurturing preschool I have found. I commute an extra hour for my son to attend here because he is truly cared for. “This school has been such an amazing experience for our family! My son absolutely loves coming to play with his friends at school. The playground is magical and the teachers and staff are so kind and caring. I feel so good leaving my son here and when I pick him up he’s having so much fun! You can tell from your child how a school is doing and my son is happy and wants to tell me all about all the wonderful things he learns. He also has made some awesome friends and the families that attend are great!”

“I have a boys aged 5 & 2. We've tried three different preschools in the Oceanside area over the 5 years and I'm so grateful we came to discovery isle! My oldest just finished the pre k program and my younger is still in the school. The teachers are caring and invested. The admin is responsive. Very happy with our move over!”

“I love this place! We started here about 4 weeks ago, and my daughter (10 months) has been so much happier than her old daycare! I know it seems odd, given her age, but she truly has been a happier baby since coming here. It's clean, the staff is all really nice, you can access the cameras for the room your child is in to see what they're doing, if they're napping, etc. All activities get tracked in the app. They offer food (breakfast, snacks, and lunch) every day if you want it. They will upload photos of your child into your app. You can pay through there. Payments are weekly, but you can sign up for auto-pay. Everything so far has been great.”
