“Beautiful and peaceful property! We ate dinner one night at Lucia, which was lovely and watched the sun set each evening from the infinity jacuzzi. Our only complaint is that we booked nights under two reservations (using credit card points) and I called ahead to ensure we wouldn’t have to move rooms - was reassured they would connect the bookings and we’d have one room for the week. And then when we checked in we were told…we’d have to move rooms. Other than that, we really liked the resort and would definitely return!”

“Truly a first class resort! Our family used to come here every year with friends of ours. And then COVID hit. This year, we decided to come back. We discovered that they had just completed a multi-million dollar renovation to their family friendly River Ranch, so we couldn't wait to check it out (and it didn't disappoint). There is something for everyone! My husband and son golfed, our kids swam, we played bocce ball, and I went to the spa. We left relaxed, not like we needed a vacation from our vacation (like we sometimes do). We can't wait to come back!”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Pacific Inn Hotel in Monterey! The room was spotless and spacious, and the parking was a huge bonus. Plus, they were dog-friendly and allowed us to bring our pup along - super convenient for pet owners! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect for exploring all that Monterey has to offer. We'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. We'll definitely be back!”

“What a great find. Quick check in from a cheerful front desk person. The room was spotless and well appointed but nothing fancy - exactly what I want when traveling. Beds AND pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“This place is nice, so nice that it made me want to get married. Why? Because my friend's wedding reception was at the Golf Club House. The place had a lot of room, plenty of tables, the food was great, and the service was really good. So why wouldn't I consider having a special occasion here? Outside of the Golf Club House, there's a great view of the hills, decent parking, plenty of grass, the lodge, houses, and there's a decent fountain. At night, there was even a fireplace to be used. My friend, his family, and everyone enjoyed their time at the Carmel Valley Golf Club House. So be my friend and invite me over for another occasion. You'll enjoy the place and I'll help finish the food that was ordered.”
“This hotel is really cute. It has a woodsy/camp feel. The room is huge and they even have an outdoor patio. Their breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.”
“Good room in the given price range. Unfortunately, as with almost all motels, road noise. The room didn't have a fridge, I had nowhere to put a drink. Otherwise clean room, blanket a bit weak considering the low morning temperatures. The heating could be turned on, but it was too loud for sleep.”

“It was just a 2 night stay but it was so amazing. We will most definitely be coming back. Mushlua the front desk girl made our check in so easy. The rooms were very clean.Rooms: Very clean and well maintained. The bed was a little hard but if that was all I had a complaint on I will take it.”

“no, these rooms are not brand new by any means. however, the attention to the smaller things make a difference. complimentary waters and granola bars, a small space heater to use if needed, and the nook area in the 2 queen room adds just enough extra space. the front desk was extremely friendly. i called the day before to confirm since i used a third part site, and the owner himself ensured everything was taken care of. we were part of a 5 family group, spread across 6 rooms and couldn't be happier with our stay. if we ever come back to the area, this is where we will stay.”
“This is a pet friendly hotel but we weren't told until we arrived that our pups couldn't stay in the room (even though they'd be crated) if we left the premises. This resulted in me having to find a last minute pup sitter and she accidentally lost one of our dogs. The entire second half of our weeklong vacay was pretty sad and not a vacay at all. The shower water pressure was the best I've experienced in all of Monterey. The carpet in the room turned the bottoms of our feet black so luckily we had slippers and socks to wear. The beds were good and the pool and hot tub were nice.”

“We came during car week so it was $$ but this hotel is so cute. Everything in the room was brand new: furniture, floor, sink, mattresses, bedding. Teeny room but great and cozy. No dirty carpet. Shower old but 10,000% worth normal travel price, great location. Friendly fellow guests. Helpful kind lady in office. Cute pool for kids. I always bring my coffee pot when I travel. Outlets for 110 and usb everywhere!”

The staff were super nice and the rooms were very clean. The walls can be a little thin but people weren't very loud. Overall I would recommend this hotel.”

“I stayed here back in May, & the owner's wife was so pleasant, she was the one who helped me. She was so kind finding a room for my little family for the night. The bed was very comfortable and the location was very quiet, which was nice. Very family friendly, several families were there as well. Parking was great. And the price was pretty affordable especially for it being a same night booking and it being located in Monterey. I definitely would recommend this location. Especially for those spontaneous moments you decide to stay overnight while out of town.”
