“My husband, daughter, and I stopped by SchoolsFirst Credit Union yesterday to open an account with less than an hour before closing. I fully expected that we might need to come back another day, but the employee who greeted us immediately made us feel welcome, invited us to have a seat, and assured us someone would be able to help us.
Emily assisted us with opening our account, and she was wonderful from start to finish. She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything while making the process feel easy and stress-free. We never felt rushed, even though it was late in the day.
What stood out most was how genuinely kind everyone in the branch was. Several employees checked in to see if we would like water, coffee, or tea while we waited, and they even asked if it was okay to give our daughter a cookie. Those small gestures may seem simple, but they made a lasting impression and made our family feel truly welcome.
We were in and out surprisingly quickly, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Exceptional customer service has become harder to find these days, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize the team for creating such a positive experience. I'm grateful for the warm welcome and very happy to be a SchoolsFirst member.”

“(Alyssa Golden) ❤️Has been an extremely professional and respectful person. I have came to this branch how many times. With so many different problems and every time she welcomed me with kindness and respect. I took the time to write today cuz she went above and beyond not only making sure that all customers are helped but she didn’t even act frustrated about she was so sweet and wanted to make sure no one goes without being helped. The lady working next to her kept telling one of the customers who just got back from asking the people at the window inside and said that they couldn’t help her mater and to go to the front desk. The lady working next to Alyssa repeatedly was telling the customer they can help you and to go back there. The customer wasn’t happy and didn’t want to go back. Alyssa then nicely offered to help the customer if she is happy to wait for a bit. I had an issue with an online long in and at first we didn’t know what was the problem as we Alyssa tried everything. I saw that it was a mystery and might take a while so I said I’d come back later but Alyssa asked that if I’m ok waiting and she would look further into it. I was so happy when I saw her going out of her way to make sure it’s done. I wasn’t even upset leaving the first time but she wanted to make sure every customer gets what they came for and every time she gave me a wonderful welcoming experience. I believe this lady should be promoted or at least a hire raise.My God bless her ?”

“I am only giving them five stars so it can show on top. I contacted customer service first thing this morning because I seen seven $29 charges on my account talking about overdraft. They have not let me use overdraft not once but today I wake up in my account is overdrawn And then they lie and tell me the manager is in a meeting. Have me on hold for 40 minutes and then transfer me to a voicemail. This is not OK. My account needs to be fixed immediately. Why are you guys charging customer fraudulent charges? Those are not supposed to appear on my account because I have not used overdraft since this account’s been open.
I shared a photo of two of the charges. I just don’t want all my transactions online lol but this needs to be fixed immediately before I contact legal advice.”
“I've been with Patelco since I was in my 20's, now I'm retiring at 64. This is on the epoch level of best decisions I've ever made...When I think about all the big bank fees and shenanigans I've missed out on over the years... chef's kiss to Patelco!! Thanks for giving me a fair deal on my first mortgage during the ever so predatory early 2000s. I can't really say enough good things about you guys.. when my co-worker told me last year that Wells Fargo is giving him his paycheck a day early I was like oh my goodness I've been getting that forever through Patelco!”
