Econo Lodge Castro Valley I-580 is close to the freeway, grocery stores and convenience. The building and grounds are well maintained, and rooms are clean and comfortable. Some rooms on the second floor have a great view. The location is peaceful and many guests enjoy a good view. The hotel offers a jacuzzi in the room, a great rv microwave and fridge, and a pool picture online that is a drawing of pavement downstairs. Issues reported include a hair dryer that didn’t work and an AC unit that takes forever to cool the room. One house keeper was rude and awkward, but overall guests love the price and find the place a great stay. Guests note the hotel offers great prices.

I Stayed here alone for a week. It’s a very nice motel at good price. Staff was very nice and welcoming. It’s close to Safeway plaza which I liked. I will definitely visit again. Room was clean. I was also provided housekeeping. Totally loved the experience.
