Our first experience was great, very friendly staff and our dog loved it! This last experience had poor service. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there and opted to blank stare at customers obviously wanting help getting cookies from behind the counter.
The toys, feed, and accessories are all very nice items and there are options not available at larger corporate pet stores.

752 Mangrove Ave, ChicoI called a few weeks ago and I booked a grooming appointment for my little poodle mix to get a haircut. They were a little booked out but they explained that each groomer only works on one pup at a time so that explained that and also made me feel way more comfortable leaving my baby with them. I’ve attempted my own at home haircuts a few times recently so I figured I should get my baby girl pampered lol the groomer was so friendly during check in and listened to me ramble on about what I wanted. Barely over an hour later they texted me and when I saw my pup I could not handle it she looked so cute!! I’ll definitely be back for another haircut with these guys. So worth it!

The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. They were thorough with exams and let me know a lot about what my cats needed health wise. I will be taking my 2 babies here from now on.

They are lovely, compassionate folks, and took great care of my older guy and all his special digestive needs. They were even able to trim his very overgrown nails, which no one else has been able to do (severely traumatizing for him!) They took good care of me, too. They offered me different options for his severe food allergies and itchy skin. He's very happy to be comfortable in his own skin again, coat growing back beautifully, and I think he likes his tamed nails as well?

The trainers taught us not only how to train our dog, but also how to better understand her specific needs and high-energy personality. By the end of the program, even our young children could confidently lead her, and we were able to take her anywhere because of how well-behaved she had become.
From the moment we signed up through the completion of the class, we felt completely supported. The staff is incredible, and we truly cannot recommend them enough!

She always is well taken care of and super tired after coming home- she gets to run around with all her friends. Terry is the best- he’s funny, friendly, and really cares about your dog. If you need a reliable, affordable place to take your dog while you’re out of town and in the Chico area, go to Meridian!

She is flexible and communicative and our skittish and sometimes a bit tough to work with pup really enjoys her time with Adriana. She sends text and photo AND video updates every day and I genuinely feel so much less stress knowing my Lu is in She is our go-to sitter and walker and is an absolute gem of a person who loves what she does.

I ordered the butter chicken and the tandoori chicken. The butter chicken was outstanding—the sauce had a delicious blend of spices and was packed with tender, juicy chunks of chicken. It also came with a generous serving of rice.
The tandoori chicken was equally impressive. It was moist, flavorful, and had a fantastic marinade that really stood out. The portion size was excellent: two thighs, two drumsticks, plus a large serving of rice and vegetables. It felt like a great value for the money.
I ordered takeout, so I can’t comment much on the dining experience, but the staff members I interacted with during pickup were friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
Overall, the food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the value was excellent. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.

When a friend said there was a Jamaican place in town, I knew I had to check it out, and I wasn't disappointed! I got the curry goat and jerk chicken. It came with rice and beans and salad, and fried plantains for an appetizer. I also got a glass of their Sorrel, a wonderful, flavorful hibiscus drink. All wonderful, and they were so kind and friendly! If you like it spicy, this is a great place, but there's plenty of mild dishes as well. Also some vegetarian options. I'll be back to try the other dishes when I'm in town again!

140 Broadway St #142, ChicoHusband and I ate dinner there May 10. The food was SO good. You have to have the cheese bread appetizer — mouth-watering delicious. And we also had one of the stuffed balls with chicken. It was delish too. Husbands had the traditional feijoada which he said was perfect. I had the Brazilian lasagna. Had no idea what to expect - it was heavenly. I’m drooling just remembering it. Lili is the owner & chef and her cooking is amazing. Go there.
