University Inn Chico is a small, independent, downtown budget motel that is super-clean, quiet, and comfortable, looking recently renovated. The rooms are clean, fairly big, and comfortable with decent sized fridges, though some furniture is dated. It is right downtown on Main Street, offering a great and convenient location with quick walking access to everything, including fun restaurants, bars, stores, and Chico State, providing great value for the price. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive, contributing to a feeling of being safe and at home. There is no breakfast and amenities are basic, but the motel remains one of the cheapest hotels in Chico, an affordable weekly option for those not needing anything fancy. While experiences with service can vary, many guests find it a good value for a clean, comfortable stay in an excellent downtown location.
Great staff the people who work here are awesome to say the least I would only suggest maybe hiring a new house keeper. Other than that I would say this is my go to when in chico. Just bring you're owns towels they are kinda crazy about them lol

I ask to use the front restroom because the one on my room was being used by my wife and the white guy on the front desk said no i got really mad
