“Rooms were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were there for 3 days and initially only given towels and washcloths for one day. We reused what we could but after requesting more clean towels 3 different times and never had any brought up to our room. My husband did go to the front desk and picked up a few towels to get us through. I assume perhaps there was a staffing issue?Breakfast was simple but good.”

“We stayed here one night and had a great night of rest! Clean and spacious rooms, fast check in and complimentary water bottles provided. We also forgot our toothbrushes and toothpaste but were kindly given some at the front desk! If we ever find ourselves in the area, we will definitely stay again.”

“1/14/2024Went to Anime Impulse. Happening at the same time was Sneaker Expo, K-Play Fest, and Asian American Expo. Plenty of choice for food, but they were from $10-$25 in range. Many different type of Asian Street food was available (except for Street food prices). It was fun, but I did not stay for long due to being a bit tired. Maybe I will go both Saturday and Sunday for the event. Note: Parking went up from $14 (last year) to $18.”

“Reasonable hotel, compared 5 years ago the quality of the rooms went down. The breakfast buffet was good, and the cost was above average, for persons from outside the USARooms: Rooms should be better maintained.”

“This place is horribly managed by DAVID & LORINEA. I highly recommend you to avoid speaking with both if you want to be taken care of with professionalism. Both MUST be replaced ASAP.I’ll be contacting corporate to make sure this happens.I’m open to answering questions to the public of the exact details.”

“I am super upset with the stay! Especially the managememt !I don't like anything about this property, there's Ant in the room, and the staff and manager Maggie Tai didn't care at all, I got my face got really bad rushed itching every morning after woke up, and when I leave the room at day time, I am completely ok. There's not even an apology from the management. The light plug was lose, the the light been going on and off. There's this really bad noise I can hear don't know from where the whole night, which I can't sleep well at all. The bed is not comfortable at all. This is an extremely bad experience here! Manager Maggie offer 25% off for one of the night, and she doesn't think all those issue is a big deal!Dirty, management (GM: Maggie Tai) suck!Facilities old, and bed suck!”

“Our room was very nice, king bed, couch, small table and two chairs, microwave and small refrigerator. The bed was quite comfortable. The room was cleaned each day and new towels provided. The bed was made up, but sheets would have been changed if we let them know we wanted them.Every staff member we interacted with was very pleasant. The breakfast was very good. Each day there were eggs, bacon or sausage, and pancakes or French toast, and hashbrowns, as well as Belgian waffles. There were pastries and different breads as well as cereals and an assortment of yogurts. We will definitely stay there again when visiting family in the area.”

“Great service and room. I booked a room at 1 in the morning and check in an hour later. The front desk was helpful and understanding. Bedroom and bathroom is very clean and smell pleasant. I had the pool view room so that’s a plus. Would recommend staying.”

“Honestly - I'm so pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The boyfriend and I (locals) needed a quick night out... well... more like a fun-time night. Let me list some pros and cons:Pros (because let's start off with positivity)- the price. Can't beat it.- the cleanliness. The bedding was so clean and soft and comfortable. There were no signs of roaches or mice. And honestly, the way the hotel looks you kind of think these kind of critters will be here.- the quietness. We were so undisturbed. - check-in. Quick, fast and easy.- Roomy! So much room for activities.Cons (I had to think about this because I didn't have any at first) - I said cleanliness was a pro HOWEVER I usually walk around hotels with chanclas on but my bf walks barefoot. Although I felt like our room was clean, his feet were BLACK by the end of the night. - The couch.... yeah, we didn't use it because it seems a lot of people have used it in the past if you know what I mean. It was stained pretty bad.Overall, as long as the bed was clean and there were no bed bugs then that's all that matters. It's a pretty decent place to rest your head or get your groove on.”

“I highly recommend this place, clean, quiet and in the cut. The jacuzzi was the hottest I’ve been in and I loved it. Close to restaurants with a good diner inside and the staff is very friendly and attentive. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I can't comment on my stay because I never actually made it to this hotel. My review comes from their reservations department, who say what you want to hear just to make a reservation, and the lack of customer service I've received over the phone with this location. I booked a stay at this hotel through my credit cards website that was non-refundable. My flight got changed to LAX and I didn't want to drive 2 hrs out of my way so I called this hotel directly to see if I could change the reservation closer to LAX. I have since found out that I got transferred to a call center and they told me they could cancel this reservation and book a new one at the Hawthorne Holiday Inn. After my stay at the other hotel I noticed this reservation never got credited back to me. I have called a total of 4 times and wasted over 3 hrs on the phone. Spoken to reservations, guest services, a so called manager, and the front desk. I have been hung up on twice (once by the manager), transferred multiple times, and finally told by the front desk that the call center employees don't work for Holiday Inn and what they told me is not accurate and they're not responsible for what I was told. They basically told me that the only way I would get my reservation refunded is to file a complaint through my credit card. The front desk clerk even went as far as to tell me much worse had happened to other people by their reservation department, like that would make me feel better. It just proves that there is an issue and no one cares enough to fix it. I will not be staying at any IHG hotel ever again. They lie to you and when you try to fix it everyone points the finger at someone else.”

“Centrally located in Brea. Short drive to Disneyland. Stayed over Christmas to visit family. All went well until Christmas Day. Someone decided to let the ENTIRE hotel know that Christmas had arrived by pulling the fire alarm at midnight on Christmas Day.The fire Almaraz not only went “Woop, Woop”, it also spoke in English. Kind of cool if it wasn’t midnight. It took the fire department about 10 minutes to arrive. Kind so slow in my opinion given this is in the heart of Brea. Took them another couple of minutes to give the all clear. What a way to spend Christmas Day. I suppose everyone got to open their presents early!”

“I have never been to a better motel ANYWHERE! I can't say enough about this place! Going to stay away from home and not having the propiator talking down, yelling or giving off a bad attitude makes all the difference in the world to me. I love the hominess and peacefulness feeling this place has and I hope Cookie will always run the show here. Thanks for wonderful memories and always going above and beyond for the vacationers as well as us regulars. We love you and your terrific run establishment! No place like home!”

“I meant to write this review earlier. The staff and hotel were AMAZING to work with! My brother Mitch lost a bet and had to check into the hotel dressed in a silly Donald Duck costume, as well as visit some friends in the area. Victoria, Michael and their team helped us prank him. They seemed to really enjoy laughing at Mitch in this embarrassing Donald Duck costume as he had to wait in the bar, dance around, make a couple of trips to the front desk, and generally humiliate himself in front of the staff and guests, LOL!!They have invited us back and we hope that we are able to have Mitch do something similar. Also, the rooms and service were great! 5 STARS!!!”

“I wouldn’t go back. It wasn’t horrible but there were signs that said it was under construction but that seemed to be an excuse for being in poor repair. There are letters missing from the way signs, there is a bare feeling to the lobby. The rooms are ok but there were odd people walking around the grounds. It just seemed like a zombie hotel and not well managed. Not horrible just not good. Area is meh as well. Again, wouldn’t go back.”

“Vanllee Hotel and Suites in Covina, CA, provided a comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff was generally accommodating and friendly. The rooms were well-maintained, and amenities met expectations. The hotel's location was convenient, and its proximity to local attractions or businesses added to its appeal. However, individual experiences may vary, so it's advisable to consider recent customer reviews for more up-to-date and detailed feedback on the hotel.”

“Came here for a weekend conference. Hotel is convenient near the airport. They have a free shuttle so you don't need a car if you are not planning to go anywhere else. Hotel is large so depending on where your room is it can be a good walk to the conference rooms. They have a Starbucks onsite, but if you like your Starbucks app or gift cards, they do not take any of those.”
