“This is my favorite witchy shop in San Diego. The vibes are great, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. If you go when Suzie is working, you are in luck bc she REALLY knows her stuff, not just the trends!”
“This exquisite shop is one of the jewels in the crown of Coronado. Nicole has traveled the world to select curated treasures, cajoled artisans into customizing their works to synch with her clients tastes and environments, supports local artists and organizations, and has beautiful pieces at every price point to make you happy no matter the occasion or need. It's always a pleasure to enter the shop and see what is new, whether it's a nostalgic kitchen towel embroidered by Nicole's mother with old fashioned recipes, a seaside print or piece of original art, or a bespoke outdoor rug for your special garden space. If I want a hostess gift, a birthday present, or just to refresh a room at home, I head for Sea La Vie.”

“Cute shop with gifts, books, clothes, and household goods. The store is colorful and fun. I purchased a Horchata scented candle and a “La Jefa” water bottle sticker for my daughter. They have a beautiful mural out front that is great for pictures.”
“I saw the prices in the store window and I thought no way, everything was actually reasonably priced I got a san Diego shirt for only $8 instead of $20 and when I asked the kind lady up front she told me theyed been there for over 30 years and the owner refused to steal from tourists with crazy prices, I've never been so happy to buy a souvenir!”

“Such a sweet shop! Everything from incense to bags, teas, jewelry and so much more. I picked up quite a few Christmas gifts and had nice conversation with the owner. Will definitely return.”
“I don't usually do reviews of this type of places but I think it's worth it.We arrived at this place after having breakfast in Little Italy and the atmosphere is perfect, in fact the music and the smell of freshly burnt incense is phenomenal. We bought a ring and some incense that we had been looking for in several places without luck. The variety of artifacts and stones is very good and abundant. The person who assisted us, a bearded guy whose name I forgot to take, was super courteous and friendly!!We'll definitely come back!!”
“My son and I is very Thankful to find Kam Fung Gift Shop. Simon is very kind and knowledgeable. We wanted to get a lucky cat, and Simon found me a really big one. I was so happy!!! “If you're visiting Barrio Logan and you don't stop at Casa XoVi you're missing out. I'm down in the area a few times a year and I NEVER MISS IT.The owner is fabulous. Such a wonderful woman and authentic. She cares and will help you get just what you need and what you didn't even realize you needed. Perfect spot for gifts also. The home made delicacies.... I stock up when I'm there.Try it all. You will thank me!I confess that I love the area but a lot of the shops are all selling identical things now and that is why I love Casa XoVi it is still unique.Art, Yummies, decor, gifts, and some of the classic items. Take a basket and let her fill it up and you will have a gift no one will forget.Go early for the best parking. I suggest comfy shoes and park a little ways off as it is more fun walking than fighting for parking. If you're close enough UBER.I feel this ship is a cultural explosion of quality and beautiful products. That with the warm and welcoming environment is pure love. ENJOY..I can't wait to return ?♥️”

“We had purchased a shark tooth necklace and while on the way back from Cali, I mistakenly threw the bag that held the necklace away. I called asking to buy another and have them mail it to us, and a week later, did so free of charge! Going through a lot at the moment and the man I spoke too - unfortunately never got his name - was extremely kind and made a hard situation just a little better with his kindness and generosity. Safe to say every visit to San Diego will include a stop here! Thank you.”
“This is a must go place among many other attractions in San Diego. In fact, it got to be in the top 10 list for being such a splendid and magnificent architecture in the heart of San Diego, offering a place for book lovers, knowledge seekers etc. There are multiple levels with a huge collection of books, computers, secluded areas to focus on one's work and beautiful views of the beautiful city. There is also an auditorium for various types of events adjacent to a small open area. Parking is nothing to worry about. Come, park and enjoy this luxury.”
“Cute store in an otherwise commercial and questionable neighborhood. Service here is consistently sweet and helpful. And of course Sees is as good as many top shelf, would consider them first for any occasion.”

“10.29.23:Visited California for my birthday and came across the Day of The Dead Festival where I stumbled upon this shop. A great place to buy a magnet and other items to fly back home with. Great selection to choose from.”
“They have so many wonderful art pieces for sale here. Everything is made in Mexico, which is great because the artists are supported. Definitely come visit this gem! They've been here for so many years. The prices are great (Better than Old Town's prices) and the customer service is excellent ❤️”
“If you like kawaii/cute/anime/sanrio things, you absolutely NEED to go there, point blank period! It is too cute not to check out, but hard not to spend all of your money there, lol.”

“What a fun hidden gem in Balboa Park!
We had so much fun walking through the cultural houses and stopping inside to learn about the different countries. We listened to a musician from Ireland, tried sweet treats from Mexico and Scotland, learned to write “snake” in Mandarin, and more!
I highly recommend taking an hour or two to explore the houses, and wrap up your experience with a visit to this gift shop where fun trinkets made in a variety of countries are sold. Many of the items are sold to support charitable organizations!”

“Super friendly and helpful staff. We spent about an hour scouring the shops to find some seashells and finally found what we were looking for here. So many whimsical and unique treasures. Highly recommend stopping in for a bit, if you are visiting the island!”
“Great place to get buy 1 get 1 free root beer floats for $10-$13 depending upon which brand of root beer you choose. Highly recommended when in old town, many root beer, birch beer and other similar sodas to choose. Great on for the family, especially on a hot day.”
“Great selection and the quality of the shirts are top notch. My favorite long sleeve shirt now. As well, the owner allowed us to use her phone when we got separated from the others in our group and didn’t have a U.S. phone plan. Thank you…I wish I could do more shopping at your store!”
“I just absolutely love this store and frequently visit it. On my last visit, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the owner, RaFFaella. She was such a pleasure to have come in contact with and she went above and beyond with her kindness and generosity. Thank you RaFFaella for the kind and beautiful person that you are.”
“Found a couple great items here - for me and my daughter. The associate there could benefit from checking her catty judgement of customers.
Response to the owner: I don't see a way to reply to your response so I'm updating my post. It was either late morning or in the afternoon. I don't have my receipt anymore, but the date was 8/23 and the cc reference # is 6161.”
“What a great boutique store (San Diego location) with friendly and attentive service. And, they sell Hammitt purses which I have been looking for everywhere. Steph helped me make the very difficult decisions on picking from the large variety of Hammitt purses and beautiful, original jewelry from around the world. I ended up going back later in the day to buy a second purse from Beau, the owner, who was also very friendly and helpful. The store also has custom art pieces great for decorating your home, clothing, fun gift items, and much more. I don't live in the area, but I will be sure to stop by in all my future visits to San Diego.”

“I absolutely love this store. The customer service is amazing and the employees are very kind. The store is very kid friendly with cute knickknacks for all ages. They have very cute and new items that are trendy.”
“I have tried for year to bake Hot Cross Buns, but I have come to accept that baking is not one of my strengths. Hot Cross Buns has been a family tradition over the Easter period for years and I have tried many different places but Handmade Market nailed it for us and we will definitely be returning customers”
“I found a retro hoodie that I loved! It was the last one and it was my size. Took it, and a couple other items, to the register to pay. When he tried to find the tag it wasn’t there. He tried to find another size on the rack and in the back. Turns out this was the last one in the entire park. He went to get a manager and while waiting searched the system to see if he could find it. After a lengthy wait the manager came out and after explaining the situation apologized for making me wait so long and rang it up under a hoodie that was the same brand, but at half the price. I was a little upset about the long wait, but they were both very apologetic and they made it right by giving me a huge discount.”
“Best souvenir shop in Old Town San Diego. Extensive inventory so you can find any souvenir you might be looking for. Been coming here since I was a kid. Employees are nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a restroom which is a plus when you're shopping for a while!”
“This is such a cute and friendly gift shop right there on the Embarcadero, just a minute north from the Flagship Cruises ticket office. They have lots of cute San Diego items, clothes and even San Diego Visitor Guide books. I think they are one of the only locations on the Embarcadero to carry an advertisement free, compact visitor guide about San Diego. It's a small place, but a hidden gem.”
