“Asked for the wrong size and he apologized and gave me a new one for free. Super cool shop with lots of hoodies and t shirts that have 200+ designs! He makes them right in front of you and is sure you like it. I highly recommend.”

“We were looking for an “oddity” shop, and came across Vervor! The shop is small but FILLED with very unique and authentic art pieces from local artists. The shop owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the items in the store and even gave us recommendations for local restaurants (which were fantastic - The Joint was a favorite)! Highly recommend visiting! :)”

“This is my favorite witchy shop in San Diego. The vibes are great, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. If you go when Suzie is working, you are in luck bc she REALLY knows her stuff, not just the trends!”

“I've shopped here for a long time now, and each visit is always wonderful. The store is always very well maintained, and the incense always makes it smell amazing. The owner is very kind, and always packages the purchase with care. I also live how there is placards explaining the history and uses behind each item. I will continue to return!”

“Cute and small store, a lot of items. Makes sense that it’s imported prices because of taxes right now. I wouldn’t mind going back to buy more studio ghibli things.”

“I saw the prices in the store window and I thought no way, everything was actually reasonably priced I got a san Diego shirt for only $8 instead of $20 and when I asked the kind lady up front she told me theyed been there for over 30 years and the owner refused to steal from tourists with crazy prices, I've never been so happy to buy a souvenir!”

“Pigment is a store out of my dreams. If you love looking at nick nacks that are arranged by zones of color and interspersed with plants, this is the place for you.

They stock all kinds of gift options like candles, jewelry, books, ornaments, crystals, etc.

There is a pretty extensive kids section with cute clothes and jelly cat stuffies.

If you go around to the back side of the store you can build your own plant terrariums ( they will also build for you ) with the plants that they have stocked.

I always find something cute to take home from sunglasses to shirts or recipe books - there’s plenty to choose from.”

“Cute store in an otherwise commercial and questionable neighborhood. Service here is consistently sweet and helpful. And of course Sees is as good as many top shelf, would consider them first for any occasion.”

“This is a must go place among many other attractions in San Diego. In fact, it got to be in the top 10 list for being such a splendid and magnificent architecture in the heart of San Diego, offering a place for book lovers, knowledge seekers etc. There are multiple levels with a huge collection of books, computers, secluded areas to focus on one's work and beautiful views of the beautiful city. There is also an auditorium for various types of events adjacent to a small open area. Parking is nothing to worry about. Come, park and enjoy this luxury.”

“Had the most amazing customer service from Sage at this location!! She went out of her way to track down an item I was looking for, send me pictures of possible other options, called other locations to check if they had it in stock, and even had it transferred to the Point Loma location so that it was easiest for me to pick it up. I could not have asked for a better experience. :)”

“Great place to get buy 1 get 1 free root beer floats for $10-$13 depending upon which brand of root beer you choose. Highly recommended when in old town, many root beer, birch beer and other similar sodas to choose. Great on for the family, especially on a hot day.”

“If you're visiting Barrio Logan and you don't stop at Casa XoVi you're missing out. I'm down in the area a few times a year and I NEVER MISS IT.The owner is fabulous. Such a wonderful woman and authentic. She cares and will help you get just what you need and what you didn't even realize you needed. Perfect spot for gifts also. The home made delicacies.... I stock up when I'm there.Try it all. You will thank me!I confess that I love the area but a lot of the shops are all selling identical things now and that is why I love Casa XoVi it is still unique.Art, Yummies, decor, gifts, and some of the classic items. Take a basket and let her fill it up and you will have a gift no one will forget.Go early for the best parking. I suggest comfy shoes and park a little ways off as it is more fun walking than fighting for parking. If you're close enough UBER.I feel this ship is a cultural explosion of quality and beautiful products. That with the warm and welcoming environment is pure love. ENJOY..I can't wait to return ?♥️”

“We popped in this store because of all the amazing wind chimes and shells displayed outside. Lots of gifts from Ocean Beach, but what I loved most was that a large majority of them were made of shells and seaglass.

I chose a starfish ornament to take home and when I checked out, the cashier told me that all the starfish in that style were hand painted by someone in-store and that was pretty cool.

We then bonded over Columbo and when we left. He was sure to tell us there was 'just one more thing...'

Cool shop, kind people. Highly recommend!”

“What a fun hidden gem in Balboa Park!

We had so much fun walking through the cultural houses and stopping inside to learn about the different countries. We listened to a musician from Ireland, tried sweet treats from Mexico and Scotland, learned to write “snake” in Mandarin, and more!

I highly recommend taking an hour or two to explore the houses, and wrap up your experience with a visit to this gift shop where fun trinkets made in a variety of countries are sold. Many of the items are sold to support charitable organizations!”

“Great place for San Diego/old town souvenirs at great prices! Got the magnet and shot glass (real glass) for $3.50 each. Docked a star because this is impossible to park near if you have a car as it’s in an extremely busy part of town.”

“I just absolutely love this store and frequently visit it. On my last visit, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the owner, RaFFaella. She was such a pleasure to have come in contact with and she went above and beyond with her kindness and generosity. Thank you RaFFaella for the kind and beautiful person that you are.”

“I really loved the design and curation of the shops. The décor, the layout, the way goods are presented everything felt thoughtfully done. But not all items are handcrafted some are mass-produced souvenirs, and those didn’t feel quite as “special.” If you go expecting museum-quality art everywhere, you’ll be disappointed. But if you go expecting finds, surprises, and something to bring home that tells a story you’ll enjoy it.”

“I found a retro hoodie that I loved! It was the last one and it was my size. Took it, and a couple other items, to the register to pay. When he tried to find the tag it wasn’t there. He tried to find another size on the rack and in the back. Turns out this was the last one in the entire park. He went to get a manager and while waiting searched the system to see if he could find it. After a lengthy wait the manager came out and after explaining the situation apologized for making me wait so long and rang it up under a hoodie that was the same brand, but at half the price. I was a little upset about the long wait, but they were both very apologetic and they made it right by giving me a huge discount.”
