“As a thriller and romance author, I’m always visiting Barnes & Noble for inspiration.
The Barnes & Noble in Otay Ranch is huge and easily the ultimate cornucopia of books in the area. I believe this is one of the only stores, if not the only bookstore, left in the south part of San Diego.

As a thriller author, I always like to see what’s new and upcoming in my genre. As I continue to expand my universe of characters in the Grant Colson series, I’m hoping to do a signing here in the future.

I love that they have different sections for mysteries and thrillers, fiction, romance, and more. They also have solid Spanish-language sections, which is really nice.

They also have an electronics section, a kids’ section, and an embedded Starbucks. The coffee area has plenty of tables, which is great for reading or working. The only downside to this location is parking. The main entrance is along a drive-through style mall with limited spaces, though a larger lot is a short walk away.

The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions.

“The owner Gil was so nice he helped me since I was looking for specific items for a birthday of my Aunt turning 75. They have all the paper bags of every color to pick from but I need the balloons to say happy birthday And the single number balloons too They had those here very reasonable too. I was glad to shop for my cousin since she was working. So now we can have a small party We well celebrate my aunt!! So excited Very nice place but take your time to all there merchandise worth checking out here. No candy or piñata's that's okay It's not a kids party!!”

“First and foremost, this is a mother and father or family operation husband and wife. They have been business for many years. They offer a Wholesale toys that you normally see at Spring Valley swap meet or the swap meet most of it is your same toys you’re gonna get from your Chinese knock offs

The store provides great service. Those of you knocking them down because they didn’t answer the phone. Maybe they’re busy. I’m not really a reason to put on one star except for competitors. This is a place that’s been a local gym They’re great people. She’s a nice older lady in her late 80s with her husband. It’s family owned and operated with her and her They’re just trying to work and survive like everybody else I think that hands-down you should support them come by some toys for Christmas. It’s perfect for small gifts for the little ones small gifts for the little kids great squirt, guns and little toys that they can utilize.

You’re gonna go to Walmart and spend the same amount of money you would on this little bike or little toys or a little squirt guns I definitely suggest you go out and support them. You won’t be left disappointed come out and support local Mom and pop”
