“My 8 year old son discovered this store on Deep Pocket Monster’s YouTube channel. We gave it a try this evening and it surely didn’t disappoint! Welcome the second we walked in and saw an awesome collection of singles and we ended up getting 5 journey together packs and ripped them in store. My son opened them up getting 3 Ex’s and pulled this awesome hit! He didn’t stop talking about it all night and is dying to go back again! Great experience for sure and we will definitely be going back!”

“As a thriller and romance author, I’m always visiting Barnes & Noble for inspiration.
The Barnes & Noble in Otay Ranch is huge and easily the ultimate cornucopia of books in the area. I believe this is one of the only stores, if not the only bookstore, left in the south part of San Diego.
As a thriller author, I always like to see what’s new and upcoming in my genre. As I continue to expand my universe of characters in the Grant Colson series, I’m hoping to do a signing here in the future.
I love that they have different sections for mysteries and thrillers, fiction, romance, and more. They also have solid Spanish-language sections, which is really nice.
They also have an electronics section, a kids’ section, and an embedded Starbucks. The coffee area has plenty of tables, which is great for reading or working. The only downside to this location is parking. The main entrance is along a drive-through style mall with limited spaces, though a larger lot is a short walk away.
The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions.

“I'm so happy I went in to Gepetto's for a gift today. I called ahead and the employee was very helpful, when I arrived to the store I made my purchase and even had it gift wrapped. I live nearby but was concerned about parking, luckily there was a 30 minute spot available in the parking lot closest to the store. This Gepetto's will be my new stop for toys & gifts.”
“Great store with a wide varity of HG, RG, MG, and even some PG Gundams. Several stands for 1/100 and 1/144 scale. Some basic tools to include entry grade zippers, professional Godhands nippers, masking tapes, sanding sponges, and other tools. Some paint options as well. They also offer a points reward system. The street the building is located on is very busy on the weekends and closed off. Parking might be a bit difficult. Overall location, variety, atmosphere, and staff friendliness makes this great location for most your Gundam needs in the San Diego area!”
“I've lived in Southern CA for about 5 years and stumbled upon Replay Toys in San Diego when I came to visit the first time about 4-5 years ago and now it is a must every time I drive down to San Diego to visit. The staff is always so welcoming (even with dogs!) and helpful and the nostalgia cannot be beat. I always find something unique or a Pokemon collectible that I cannot find anywhere else and walk out super happy.”

We had purchased a little wooden picnic set and upon coming home and opening, realized the handle from the basket was missing. The ladies at the Gold Leaf were so accommodating and mailed us the replacement handle the next week. Amazing customer service and can't wait to visit again!”

“Took my nephew here while he was visiting for the weekend and we both had a really good time looking around. The store had a nice mix of classic toys and newer stuff, so there was plenty to choose from. One employee even helped us find a toy he'd been talking about for weeks. Prices seemed fair and the place was clean and organized, which made shopping easy. We ended up leaving with more than we planned, but honestly it was worth it. My nephew hasn't put down his new toy since we got home. Would definitely come back again.”

“I recently took my nephew to this toy store and honestly had a really nice experience. The selection was bigger than I expected, with toys for different age groups and interests. The staff were friendly and gave us a few good suggestions without being pushy. Everything was organized well, so it was easy to look around and find what we needed. My nephew got excited the moment we walked in and ended up finding a toy he hasn't put down since. Prices seemed fair too. They have all the paper bags of every color to pick from but I need the balloons to say happy birthday And the single number balloons too They had those here very reasonable too. I was glad to shop for my cousin since she was working. So now we can have a small party We well celebrate my aunt!! So excited Very nice place but take your time to all there merchandise worth checking out here. No candy or piñata's that's okay It's not a kids party!!”

The store provides great service. Those of you knocking them down because they didn’t answer the phone. Maybe they’re busy. I’m not really a reason to put on one star except for competitors. This is a place that’s been a local gym They’re great people. She’s a nice older lady in her late 80s with her husband. It’s family owned and operated with her and her They’re just trying to work and survive like everybody else I think that hands-down you should support them come by some toys for Christmas. It’s perfect for small gifts for the little ones small gifts for the little kids great squirt, guns and little toys that they can utilize.
You’re gonna go to Walmart and spend the same amount of money you would on this little bike or little toys or a little squirt guns I definitely suggest you go out and support them. You won’t be left disappointed come out and support local Mom and pop”
“I found a retro hoodie that I loved! It was the last one and it was my size. Took it, and a couple other items, to the register to pay. When he tried to find the tag it wasn’t there. He tried to find another size on the rack and in the back. Turns out this was the last one in the entire park. He went to get a manager and while waiting searched the system to see if he could find it. After a lengthy wait the manager came out and after explaining the situation apologized for making me wait so long and rang it up under a hoodie that was the same brand, but at half the price. I was a little upset about the long wait, but they were both very apologetic and they made it right by giving me a huge discount.”
