“I bought their prime rib meal for $29.95 and returned 2 weeks later for another one. The meat was excellent, as you may expect--tender, juicy, and seasoned well.The generous sides change weekly and are tasty as well.It's a great bargain for the amount of food you get, plus, the owners and prime rib Pedro are good guys.I need to try their barbecue one of these days.I will definitely return.”

“I highly recommend their Deli department. I've been using their catering for Fried chicken & Sub Sandwiches for my large school events, parties and funerals (300+) for 3 years now and they've always come through. I always get compliments on the taste of the food. The team is easy to work with and they have great costumer service in the deli department from the manager to the service workers. I've passed several other Stater Bros along my route just to go to the San Dimas location. They are a hidden gem!”

“This market has all the typical groceries that you can't find in any a normal grocery store. The quality of meat is good. I have to say that the marinated chicken was really good. I'll definitely be coming back to this market to try out the food they make there.”

“2/4/24 This meat market is like the Gelson's of meat markets, everything in its place. It's enticing to shop at a well organized & clean shop. As soon as I walked into the establishment, I was greeted by the staff behind the counter. This is not what expected--where most places ignore you & employees looking like they don't want to be there. It's a nice surprise. Their meat selection is pretty sizable & I am impressed at how neatly stacked & arranged everything is. The prices are reasonable & well worth it for the way things are. I went in to check out if they have guac & salsa (I mean what kind of a carniceria that would not have guac & salsa, right? LoL). They did (see photo), the guac at 8 oz. for $4.99. The salsas (roja & verde) @ $3.49 each. I was hoping they'd have a bigger container for family size and looking back I should've asked. I opted to go elsewhere to buy & now regret not buying one just to taste if it's any good. Based off of just the initial impressions I am giving them a 4 star. I'm hoping that the next time I return & buy/taste their products, it would be a 5 star experience.”

“The new owner and his team are very nice & friendly. He has fresh young goat meat available daily and beef as well. Has his own butchery to cut as well. The butcher is very professional, I bought fish and goat meat and they were cut and clean very professionally, I have come across only a few who are able to do such a clean work. Also carries all sorts of fish from the Indian Subcontinent like Rohu, Katla, Coral, Hilsa that his team will clean and cut into steaks without any extra charge. Just call him and order the fish and go pick up. Also he carries a line of other small fishes like Gutum, Molla Black, Darsha Putti, Chapla, Sagor Puna, Koi, Balla, Bata, Lotia, Keski, Meni fish. Alongwith that he carries shrimp as well.Also his Shami kebab whether Beef/Chicken are very delicious and no one sells shami kebab in SOCAL at the store except him. His Beef/chicken biryani is also very delicious.He carries various rice like basmati, sona masoori, kaljeera and many more.His prices are also very reasonable whether for cooked food or raw meat/fish/chicken.I love this place which i found recently and I will be a regular customer for fish, goat meat and shami kebab.They will cook chicken/beef/goat meat for you at an additional cost of $10 if you buy from them, they use fresh spices to cook them and not the packed ones.I bought goat liver last week and it came out to be very good. The goat meat was of excellent quality, fresh young goat and clean not like the old regular frozen ones that other stores sell. They will even mince the meat for you whether beef/goat.I wish him the Very Best!”

“Don’t listen to the 1 star reviews from snobby people with their head up their butt! This place is AMAZING! The Butchers, Workers & customer service is professional and very helpful & kind. I always come here during lunch for their well known Tri Tip Sammich ? it never disappoints! I’ve taken 2 of my friends to try it & my father and they all loved the Tri Tip. The Prices of their cuts are very good and affordable for the amazing quality you get! 4 fresh natural rib eye steaks for $40 and some change, you can not beat that. Once again I don’t understand these angry reviews from angry people. Take it from a local I highly recommend this Butcher Shop & it makes me never want to have any other meat shop from some average grocery store. As for the angry reviewers complaining about the how expensive it is (it’s not expensive) go to food 4 less. I LOVE Hottinger Family Meats. Feels like home. ❤️”

“This store has such outstanding service I feel it necessary to write another review. On Valentines Day morning I went into this store to purchase a few gift items. Again, I had outstanding service. First, I was greeted by the friendly and kind sushi lady. Her sushi is always delicious and fresh. I ended up buying three containers. Then I meet Jason in the bakery department. This young man is phenomenal, and he went the extra mile and made the most beautiful, dipped strawberries. I ended up buying 12 packages to give as gifts. I also bought his beautifully decorated individual jumbo cupcakes. He is an extremely talented individual. Tony, the store manager, Shawn, Randy, Yvonne and Judy are also phenomenal. They are always there to assist, and this day was no exception!”

“The bakery ladies, Vivian and Debbie, were such a BIG help ! I had ordered with a different lady in bakery and she had no personality whatsoever.. especially when we were trying to explain what we were going for and she basically dismissed what we were trying to show her. We go to pick up our cupcakes and they are the wrong color.. we were then taken care of by Vivian and she has customer service and did her best at explaining on paper what color we needed.. we go the next day to pick up our cupcakes and they are the perfect shade of toy story alien green ! A HUGE thanks to Debbie for preparing them beautifully and to Vivian for describing the cupcakes perfectly.”

“Great halal market in the heart of Diamond Bar, CA. A great find and right next to the Indian grocery store. You can buy from both and mix and match. The market almost looks ancient. There is no pork here, only beef, lamb and chicken.”

“Love Stater Brothers and always have but miss the days when a butcher was on site all the time. Came to get a 5-bone ribeye roast for the holidays. We usually get a 7-bone but we had less people this year. I was there at 5 pm on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. They did not have a 5-bone ready so someone would have to cut a 7-bone. The kid was sweet though and offered me a combination of a 2-bone and 3-bone which would have been ok outside of a holiday meal. For aesthetic purposes, I wanted one full roast for the table. If you are coming to get a specific cut of meat that requires a butcher you can only do that during the day (like before 4 or 5 pm). The younger staff that works after 4 do not cut meat. Minimally, during holiday weeks, it would be nice to keep a butcher around at least till 6-7 pm for those that can’t get there earlier. Other options I suppose would be to call your order in early in the day and be sure they mark it “HOLD FOR XX” then pick it up later. Other than that, I love Stater Brothers and love their meat department.”

“Hi went there on my own to get the item the other store I didn't see any Easter Sunday afternoon. They're looks finished remodeling and got little better experience. Some of staff was not too happy. A kinda nice man worked stocking where juices are helped me located the pumpkin pie spice and then walked to get the SB bottled water and this time they had in the cooler. Cashier young man Bryan (says on receipt didn't wear badge or smiled) waited on me with a greeting Hi and then "have a good one". They need to enforce staff to wear proper work attire, a badge no phones used, and smile!!!! I'll try not to go back there since only one person doesn't work there anymore who I'll be nameless! Bye!!”
