“IF IT WERE SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE, I WOULD MARRY TRADER JOES!!! SADLY, IT'S NOT!I first fell in love with Trader Joe's, circa 2006. My relationship with TJ, has lasted longer than any of marriages so far! TJ has never disappointed me (unlike my father and my past relationships) It all started when I stumbled upon it in Roseville CA. I've since moved a few times and have frequented many TJ's. While they're all lovely, Claremont is my absolute favorite! Really fun helpful staff (Lina was a delight too, sadly she's no longer working there)! Great Prices! Great selection! Great displays! Super fun signage sometimes.The fun thing about TJ's is that there's always something new there! Always full of surprises! So, I look forward to shopping. Mama Pajama, I just realized I'm there at least once a week!Great playlist! This is an important fact for me, about this TJ's! It always puts me in a great mood! (During the mandatory mask wearing days, I would be dancing up and down the aisles like I was on American Bandstand and Soul Train!) Great fun! (Unlike my first marriage)I believe this will be a life long shopping relationship for me (jeez, I sure hope so!)”

“Don't get The Quarter Market confused with The Quartet Creole Cuisine's location which is just north on Indian Hill. The Quarter Market is located in the alley right next to I Like Pie and by the Coffee Bean. My husband was craving a catfish po boy and asked me to find a new place since the ones we've tried recently were just ok. I found The Quarter Market here on Yelp and we decided to try them out today (Sunday). I saw on their menu that they only serve the fried catfish and shrimp po boys on Friday-Sunday 11am-2pm. My husband and I both got the catfish po boys and shared their beignets with strawberry sauce. Wow the bread is so good, soft and chewy and the catfish was hot, nice crunchy and well seasoned . The beignets were absolutely heavenly too! I can see ourselves returning for sure. Plus they have a couple tables outside that are dog friendly.”

“I absolutely love this place and the fact they sell some snacks you can find in America stores but these ones are Mexican, yea that’s right they have Mexican hot Cheetos, Mexican Doritos, Mexican Fritos, or if you just want the regular American they have those too along with plenty of candy and drinks, sadly I live in New England and I will miss this place after my vacation ☹️”

“4/15/24 This is pretty good location for a Sprouts in Claremont, it's the closest to home. It looks smaller than my usual Sprouts (in Lakewood) but it looks organized & tidy, fresh produce and I'm still getting used to the way it's laid out. Today, I picked up my ginger root powder & turmeric powder, bananas & cream cheese for the bagels I bought from the farmers market last Saturday in Pomona. The drive around the Claremont neighborhood reminds me of S. Pasadena & San Marino. It's a pretty little city. I have yet to interact with the staff (went to self checkout w/o incident) but they look like they're taking good care of the store. This could possibly be my new neighborhood Sprouts.”

“Just moved to the area and of course, I break a my foot. Searching all pharmacies for your meds when you have a prescription from your doctor can be very difficult. It's a law that pharmacies aren't allowed to tell you over the phone whether or not they have your medication. In my case, it was strong pain meds. We came from a town where the Vons was awful and didn't have a pharmacy. My husband drove all over town to every pharmacy trying to find my two medications. Then we found this Vons. Of course I was hesitant about Vons.. But, they not only had what I needed but the staff was terrific! I want to especially give a review to Wilson, the pharmacy manager. Wilson went out of his way to contact my Dr. more than once to try to get my meds approved before the weekend. Wilson personally called me the next morning to let me know that my meds were ready. When I arrived later that day (in a wheelchair), I saw Wilson but he was was obviously on his lunch break. He saw me and remembered me! He mentioned to come back because they were at lunch in the pharmacy for another 45 minutes. But asked for my paper script, which I gave him. When I returned, everything was ready to go and I didn't have to wait! Thank you Wilson! Vons is lucky to have you. What a kind, attentive, thoughtful and caring human being. We will now be switching all of our medications to Vons.”

“As a forty year customer I am very disappointed in the new meat dept. Where the beef and pork are placed the customers are all crushed together and you can’t see the selection. Why is mgmt not noticing??”
