“After a very bad experience trying 2 adopt a KITTEN at Animal Samaritans, a substandard 'No Kill' shelter in N. Palm Springs (see my Review) I was told by another happy adopter 2 go here. However No CATS! It is one of the nicest doggy-style country clubs with manicured lawns with happy dogs enjoying life awaiting their future family homes. If dogs could smile, they were smiling here. Janet the Media & Adoption Counselor heard my sad story about the former bad place & how I was ready to 'give up adopting a cat or kitten & she was so understanding & helpful. She gave me a 2 page info sheet on WHO was the best facility to go to for cat adoptions. Then she even followed up with a phone call to me...& this was a DOG place she was working at(!). She made me feel so much better by giving me the info I needed. Thank you again Janet! You are an asset to All Animals waiting for adoption out there. If I ever need a dog I will come here first!”

“What a lovely place for dogs! This place is renewing my faith in pet adoption places. After a bad experience at Animal Samaritans in N. Palm Springs I stopped in here & was greeted by Janet who was very concerned about what happened (a botched kitten adoption) but very welcoming... but it was all dogs, smiling, happy dogs out lounging on a lush lawn, just waiting for a happy family to take them home.. However I was looking for a kitty. Not only did Janet take the time to educate me on 'who was who' as far as the best cat adoption places in the area, places who WOULD not mislead me (*as Animal Sanctuary had done) but honest to goodness pet shelters who would treat me with respect & integrity & truly act on behalf of the animals. Even though she ran the dog place in Coachella, Janet insisted on following up with me about my progress in finding a kitty. She even called me & left a follow up message, & after a bad experience....Janet was a breath of fresh air!”
