Grocery Stores
“As other reviews State, this is a small commissary. It is an "annex store" of the NAS Fallon "main store" (100-miles away). Because this is inside the "MWTC" base housing complex, you must have a military (or spouse) ID to visit. There's is an equally small "base exchange" sharing the West half of the building - great for getting reasonably priced liquor if you have access”
“Convenience store, deli, gas station and laundromat all in one. They don't have a large selection of items but they have what to probably need in a pinch. Employees are friendly. We didn't eat here today, just used the laundromat and store.
The laundromat has old machines, some that aren't working. The ones that do work, work well. The dryers, though old, dry better than most other laundromats that I've been to.
$2.00 to wash on the front loaders, $1.50 for the top loaders. $0.25 per 10 minutes on the dryers. I did 2 loads with $5.”
“The best general store anywhere in this area for groceries and personal items. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, with a family run vibe.Prices will be higher than you're used to, but remember where you are - it will cost you $20+ in gas to go elsewhere.I was amazed at how well stocked they keep this place for being a remote mountain town! I spent about a month camping in Toiyabe National forest, and this place had all the groceries I needed. They even have a (very limited) supply of meat and produce! They also fill propane, but only between noon and 4pm, if I remember correctly. Its not like you really have much choice of where to shop in this area, but even if you did, you should go here. One of my favorite small-town general stores, and I RV full time and have seen 45 states! Thanks for making a total stranger feel like family ?”
