“They've got a new store format where you shop on mobile and an employee pulls your size from the back - I think, I was just making an exchange so I didn't need to shop. I think I encountered 4 employees from the door to the counter and everyone was extremely helpful while being genuine and not annoying. The exchange was quick and efficient, which I really appreciated since I had my kid with me. They even offered a balloon and expedited grabbing my new size. That's some top notch customer service that I totally wasn't expecting and was very pleasantly surprised by!”
“Come here for a quick gift to bring a fancy hipster toy to your next young kids birthday party. Expect to pay high prices, but in return, you get fancy packaging that feels good in your hands, as you marvel at the extra 5 minute effort the clerk spends to wrap your gift and stamp it with custom letters with the name of the recipient. The store is a joy for parents, but honestly like any fancy boutique you get concerned bringing your little ones in tow. This is a high brow gift shop, not Toys R Us.”

“What a wonderful little shop!! And the owner is a kind, compassionate and upbeat guy! We just visited Fisherman's Wharf in S.F. from L.A., and re-discovered this welcoming place! I bought a purple T-shirt custom-screened with a dog logo, and the owner also gave me an SF key chain. I appreciated the low price, and the merchandise is first-rate and unique. “Healthy Horizons is a great place to get lactation help and they have such cute clothing as well .... have to remember to stop here for the next baby shower! I am writing this review because Sheila Janakos doesn't just help new parents in her store/lactation support center but she is also a generous soul who helps the community. I have been on the board of a nonprofit for 32 years now called Nursing Mothers Counsel which provides free lactation support via phone with volunteers trained in lactation and counseling support. We are a great back up source for parents who may not need the expert support that Sheila and her IBCLC staff provide, or who are in need of support after business hours.
We are so grateful to Healthy Horizons for donating 4 Medela Symphony Pumps to NMC for use as grant rentals for low income families we serve. This substantial donation will certainly help many low income families in the Bay Area and Santa Cruz County. Sheila has remained an affiliate member of our small non-profit and supported NMC with donations throughout her many years associated with our organization. “I was looking for swimwear and a sweater (both from Tea Collection) which were sold out on the company's website. After a google search for the items, I found Fiddlesticks! They have a nice selection of children's clothing as well as plush toys (I ended up buying a few more adorable plush toys from Jellycat). When I received the package today, all items were individually wrapped and there was a sweet note from the owner. Had a lovely experience shopping online. Highly recommended this store.”
“Great employees! store is really weird though. the door is always locked and they come to unlock the door whenever you want to come in. almost like they dont want you there, very empty and souless. I love how they don’t follow you around the store and lurk behind you. overall weird experience due to the vibe.”

“This place is huge on the inside. It's clean and organized. I'm not a fan of shopping so, I was here to pick up an online order. I couldn't miss the special sale they had going for $3 tank tops. Pickup was easy and avoided digging for the size I needed. People who worked there were super nice and directed me to where the pick up area was. A pleasant experience.”

“Walked into the store and browse what's new. Fall in love with their Venice sweatshirt and Harlow tops. I needed a smaller size and asked one of the lady working there. She's about 5'3" blonde with glasses. She told me it's a sales item and that everything they have is on the rack. So I continued to shop and paid for 4 items with her. She's polite, but not friendly. While I was walking out, another sales lady approached me and asked if I'm looking for anything specific. So I told her I actually really liked the Venice Sweatshirt but they didn't have my size. She then pulled out a device and said that she can order online for me. So I waited, and then she looked at me and said they might have one in the back! She asked me if I can wait for her and I did. She came back with the exact sweatshirt I wanted and helped me with check out so that I didn't have to wait in line again. She's very friendly and professional, she CHECKS her inventory!! And she invited me to come back and shop again. Her name is Debbie. I would definitely go back and see her! Such a nice lady and I hope Athleta could keep her there because this location really is a hit or miss in terms of SA. Store is clean, selections are great. I hope the store manager will read this and improve their CS because I do like Athleta products.”

“Took the wife here today on our occasional SF thrifting trips ...its well organized with plenty of clothing,shoes and accessories ...definitely some nice stuff in here as well like Patagonia kids...the worker here was attentive and friendly...cool little store in Bernal Heights ...parking can be tough I'm thinking on a weekend..we went on a weekday ...”
“I like uniqlo for their socks, airism drawers and most recently airism joggers. The Serramonte store is pretty big and well organized and neat. The self checkout is pretty straightforward, but they also have enough people to help you check out if the lines are getting long. Good quality and updated clothes. Not exactly the most interesting fashion, but it gets the job done!”
“Small frys is the best children clothing/shoe store in San Francisco! Whenever I am in the area for lunch or a walk, I always stop by here to get something for my daughter and son. It's also a great place to get a gift for a special little one! There's always a decent sized sales rack at the entrance. What makes this store truly amazing is the owner. My family from Ukraine recently fled the war and arrived in San Francisco. The owner reached out to me and told me she has a care package at her store waiting for my almost 6 year old nephew. I had tears when reading how generous of a person she was. Not only did she give him incredible See Kai Run shoes, but she also have super stylish pants, shirts and PJs. My family and I are forever grateful for her kindness and generosity. Thank you, thank you. Support small businesses like Small Frys!”
“Can't say too many bad things about this store... Good clothes for a good price, and they seemed genuinely surprised when I end up spending a couple hundred dollars. (Oh yeah there you go that's your negative, they profile people, and because I'm young sag My pants and walk around with a backpack on they always follow me around & look at me like I stole something.) It's really irritating amd degrading, but such is the current state of affairs in SF”
