“I was taking Whiskey Pete the Albino to the zoo to visit his relatives ..they work there, and we decided to snag some sandwiches from George's Zoo before we got there, for a couple of reasons. The main reason is the Zoo Cafeteria doesn't know how to make anything other than a bad hotdog or an even worse PBJ plus they cost as much as a nice dinner out! The sandos from George's Zoo are pretty awesome, and very reasonably priced, every bit worth 5 stars! ☆☆☆☆☆”

“I ordered 3 sandwiches via Uber Eats because I had a discount for ordering online. I have always loved your food and have always liked Mike. One of the sandwiches I got delivered today had a note on it that the bread specified was not available and the staff apologized for that. I want to let you know that little things like not having a specific bread is no big deal, but I thought that the note itself was an above and beyond action by the staff. I dont know who it was, but please recognize that person for exceptional customer service. The food is delicious as ever and we all thank you for it.”

“The only Sandwich I’ve ever been to where they put “too much” on a “regular sandwich”. But that’s the thing these sandwiches ARE NOT REGULAR. The sandwiches are hefty and full of flavor. The possibilities are also endless.
On this particular visit I got the #20 and removed the roast beef. It was a very good sandwich. The next time I might try it with the roast beef instead of the pastrami get a different taste on the same sandwich.

“Stumbled upon this place when visiting Ghirardelli square and glad I peaked in. I see they have a lot of wine, but was surprised they have craft beer mostly from Armistice but they are great. The staff is quite friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.”
“25th and Clement Produce is the corner store every neighborhood wishes it had. It’s easily the most organized, cleanest, and most thoughtfully stocked market I’ve ever been in. Every piece of produce is clearly inspected and arranged with care, and you can tell the owners take real pride in what they put on the shelves.
The prices are excellent too — much of the produce is right in line with Andronico’s, but the quality and freshness are consistently better.
And the best part? They make their own fresh‑squeezed orange juice. It’s honestly the best orange juice money can buy, and absolutely worth the trip even if you’re coming from farther away. Their OJ has made many a weekend brunch feel extra special.
The owners and staff are wonderful people as well — friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in the community.

“This has been my go to convience store since I have moved in to the neighborhood. When I first began coming here it was a family owned business, then the ownership changed a few years later. They have a wide selection of drinks, snacks, groceries, home goods, essentials, etc. The people that runs this place has always been welcoming, friendly and understands business. I usually stop by for a quick snack and drink run. They tend to open early and close late. I had never had an issue at any of my visits. I highly recommend this place to anyone nearby, have the munchies or just happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back!”
“Regular now honestly, I stopped in here on my lunch break today and was surprised. They had a bottle of Angel's Envy Cask Strength bourbon behind the counter that I hadn't seen anywhere else... I didn't buy it (lunch break!), but I'm gonna have to come back. It wasn't too busy either, which I appreciated.”
