Dolores Deluxe is an unpretentious neighbourhood spot that operates as both a sandwich counter and a compact convenience store near Dolores Park. Opened in 2022 in a restored 100-year-old corner store, it is run by owners with Michelin kitchen experience. The shop offers the best vegan sandwiches in the city, with new and creative options frequently. The sandwiches and house-made dips are absolutely exceptional, creative, and made with fresh ingredients. Pricing is fair, service is quick, and the space is designed to serve the neighborhood. It is a practical alternative to pricier options and is certainly worth a detour.

I had the Call Me Serge and it really hit the spot. There was a bit of a zing in the sandwich that I really enjoyed. Next time I'll try the chicken sandwich.
