“We had no clue that this gem was tucked inside of the gas station had it no been for other reviews on here, so we wanted to add ours to help others too! We were in need of some quick and yummy sandwiches to enjoy while relaxing on the river and the finds we found here were perfect. We enjoyed a range of sandwiches (including a Philly cheesesteak!) and some side salads too (egg salad was the bomb). If in need for a delish lunch while out enjoying the river or a hike, this is def a great spot to grab and go!”

“Price is always lower than the major gas stations. Access is easy, 100 feet off Bass Lake road. And to top it off there is usually no wait. Costco is lower price but usually some waiting too.”

“When are they going to get a slurpy machine? Can they find a more efficient way to do a shift change, instead of halting all transactions while one person counts out all of the tills?”

“We've been to the Placerville Speedway many times for races and other track events. I was particularly impressed by the Malicious Monster Trucks event that we attended last night. I didn't see the option to buy tickets in the handicapped section and was afraid they'd sell out, so I bought the ones that I could, but was worried I might not be able to climb up the bleachers to my seat, as I do have some mobility restrictions. I contacted the Placerville Speedway and they were so sweet and accommodating! The kind lady that I spoke with exchanged the tickets that I bought for more accessible seating and then gave me helpful instructions on where I could park my scooter for easy access. I was able to enjoy the event comfortably and without any issues. The show was fantastic, security was in force and keeping a good handle on everything and even the food stands were operating quickly and efficiently. Overall, it was truly a great experience and I will definitely be back again soon!”

“It's a good gas station and convenience store. However they don't sell Lottery tickets anymore. They do have a large selection of drinks, snacks, etc. They also have a hot case for food.”

“2nd cheapest gas between Tahoe and Sacramento. I always enjoy the Sinclair locations directly off the freeway, but this facility only had a tiny grocery store inside with some snacks and drinks. Really appreciated the two free—and clean—bathrooms available outside to customers also.”

“Hands down some of the best pastries, breakfast, and a bunch more goodies! This place is my go to always. Not only is the service spectacular but the owner and employees always come together in the event of an emergency to provide resources for those that need them. Love Gas and Go!”

“I choose to fill my tank here because it is one of the cheapest places around for fuel plus if you put in your Safeway club card you can redeem your points for an additional 10 cents a gallon.”

“The guy at the register was very nice and helpful and I think he was new to the job too. Also what I purchased was cheaper here than at a different place I usually go to, so now I'm going to come back here to get them.”

“Super friendly staff. A gentleman works here the greets me when I come in. It is good to exchange pleasant communication at the base of the hill of the retirement community above. I always buy my gas here when I go up to the hill.”

“Love Marie! Only reason I come to this store! Love the Xmas painting on windows and the decorations so festive! I didn't know people still did that! Way to go!”

“Since it's the only gas station in Georgetown, I really didn't expect such a wonderful little store. People are friendly and helpful, and while I rarely drive anywhere so I don't fill up very often, I find their prices are right for the distance their fuel has to travel just to get up here! It's always clean and when we've had bad weather, they do their best to keep fuel available. No complaints from me at all!Kate Douglas”

“Fuel 4 Less in Placerville gives me incredible gas mileage, and it's at least a dollar cheaper than most stations....I drive a 2011 Ram 1500 Hemi 4WD. I live in the central valley (Visalia, south of Fresno) and the best mileage I get with local and brand name fuels is pretty consistent at 12 MPG City, 17 MPG Highway.I drive through Placerville once a month to visit family in Pollack Pines. About 4 months ago I stopped in Placerville to get gas. I filled up at Fuel 4 Less and by the time I got to Sacramento I was getting 24 MPG. This mileage held all the way to Visalia. With the half tank I had left I achieved 18 MPG city until the tank was near empty. I thought it was a fluke or my truck started running better... NOT. The next fill up of good local fuel put me back at 12 MPG city and 17 MPG highway.I repeated this phenomenon with Fuel 4 Less three times over the following three months. Amazing fuel for my truck. I will continue to fill up at Fuel 4 Less every chance I get. I wish I knew what type of fuel they buy so I could see if it is available in the central valley.”

“This Chevron is right on the 50 in Shingle Springs and a one stop fullfillment for long road trips. Get your gas, use a moderately clean restroom, pick up some snacks and even get a proper lunch or breakfast with the little cafe inside. I can't comment on the food, but I imagine it shouldn't be too hard to make a decent sandwich. The store is more like a small grocery (Golden Harvest Market) than a tiny mart with a variety of selection. There is definitely a propensity for seedy characters around here in this little town of about population 4,500. It seems this market is convenient for locals also.”

“Best price for location, they honestly have the lower prices than the neighboring stations and I've seen the fuel trucks there filling and it's the same as 76 top quality gas. I can brag about them because I frequent this gas station often for my fuel needs. They do have a small selection of items, snacks and drinks in the store part but for they're size they have a great selection! Also really good icee flavors. There prices are always significantly lower than their competitor neighbors. Stop in for good quality fuel for way lower prices!”

“Some of the best prices in the area. Warm friendly people working there who actually thank you for your business. Nice to get a better quality gasoline for the lower prices that they offer. Will be returning there again!”

“Conveniently located in Placerville. It's a nice place to pit stop on the way up to Tahoe. The strip has some places to grab fast food, coffee and other small mom and pop shops. If you're up for it, there are lots of wineries and Boa Vista orchards up the road.”

“Great customer service and very friendly but some advice you should lower the gas prices a few cents and you will generate alot more customers.but that aside I recommend you to everyone I talk to who needs gas and hot food.”

“This gas station is the best. If you need an energy drink, hot coffee, a pastry, or some chips while you fill the tank stop by and say hey to Derrick. Hes friendly helpful and he keeps the place clean. They also sell some basic grocery items for last min camping or quick eats. They have fire wood and a few car supplies as well. A great stop for last min needs, gas, and friendly service.”

“**** update!! Manager called me back and apologized and told me my refund was waiting at the station along with 3 free top wash car washes! She handled a tough situation beautifully and made it right and then some. She is a prime example of grace under fire in customer service and that station is lucky to have her! Thanks Rachel! Their car wash has been declining my debit card and yesterday I tried one more time to take my car through and it declined over and over so I just drove through it and then noticed today that there is a charge on my bank account for a car wash I did”

“My favorite gas station in Cameron Park. They swell dog treats and have the best employees aside from the new girl with short dark hair. She can use a little more training on acknowledging customers up until they depart from store”

“I'm always greeted by a sweet guy on pm's and their graveyard worker Tammy. Both super sweet and funny. I stop in 3 nights a week for my free (for essential workers) cup of coffee and a snack. Great staff and store is always clean and stocked!”
