“This place is a total gem! My wife found it when looking for a particular bottle of bourbon for me. Not only did she find some extremely rare bottles here, the owners were absolutely amazing and the most friendly people you could imagine. My wife ended up getting me a bottle of Blanton's gold and I picked myself up a bottle of Weller's reserve. Wish I would have found this place years ago!”

I wish they had more space for more veggie varieties but for the limited space they have I'm not complaining. The workers are always so kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. “This store is a pleasant trip anytime one needs to get groceries. They stock during the night, which is nice as you don’t get disrupted during your shopping trip. I came in to return some cough drops that I bought at another Safeway, no receipt or Safeway account. Danielle helped me out and exchanged them for another type of cough drop with no trouble.Minus a star because the gas station seems to have many pumps out frequently and also runs out of gas completely about once a month. This Safeway also is missing many goods and amenities others have. Coinstar is non functional as of today 12/13/23”

“Not a bad selection for a small 3 store chain in a very rural area. A little more spendy than the big chain stores but that's to be expected. Best thing for me is there is ALWAYS more than one cashier and/or bagger and rarely much of a wait, if any.”
“Highly recommend this place! I am grateful to have a nice cheese shop like this right at downtown placerville. “This is a cute little store it's convenient when your on your way to the river or camping in the area to stop by and grab some ice and cold drinks, eggs , butter, charcoal a newspaper or some fishing hooks the clerks are really nice and always tell you hi when you come in and always say to have a nice day when leaving!”
“The drinks were alright and we were serviced by one woman, but she was very nice. The grocery store itself is modern inside and pleasant. If you can, go to a stand alone store.”

“I had a horrible experience at the Placerville DMV this morning and then went shopping at Safeway. My cashier was the sweetest, friendliest person and really brightened my day. I didn't catch her name but I wish I did because I think she deserves something extra for such good customer service; although I think she was just being herself. She had the bigger Christmas lights necklace on.”

“Walmart Placerville Auto Center is the best! Placerville Techs go above and beyond and are way nicer and easier to talk to (unlike their Sacramento counterparts).Recently I was in Sacramento when a tire on my car got punctured and couldn’t be repaired. West Sacramento Walmart Tech wanted to replace it with some “cheap brand” because they didn’t have the same brand tire (as what was in my car) in stock. The Tech didn’t know how to order the same brand or how I can get replacement with the same brand under their roadside hazard policy.I later spoke with Placerville Walmart Auto Center. Their manager said I can order the same brand tire on Walmart website and then when I come back to get it installed they would do the price adjustment under their roadside hazard policy. Walmart Placerville took ownership and resolved my issue unlike their Sacramento counterparts who didn’t seem very knowledgeable and wanted to pass the buck. Thank you to the Walmart Placerville manager and the techs for all your assistance in resolving my issue.”

“I don't usually go to the Cameron Park Safeway, but my usual Safeway Pharmacy in EDH was out of a medication I needed right away. That store phoned my order ahead to the CP store and they filled it. The staff was great and the pharmacist gave me detailed instructions.Safeway = great pharmacy!”
