“Finally a carnicería that is close to home! Today my family and I stopped by and wanted to pick up few meats to try out. We've always wanted to stop by and try out this place since it's close to home. We picked up 3 types of cuts, prime ranchera , tasajo, and costillas . All were very good however the prime tasajo was the winner for us overall:) . For the price I believe we paid was a little under $65 for 5Lb of the cuts but to me it is fairly priced. Inside the carnicería was very clean. That is something I can appreciate because many other carnicerías have looked dirty or had a bad smell which would directly correlate to the quality of the meat. I can let you know Los Portales is not like those carnicerías:) . Also inside the carnicería is like a mini market! I'm glad they carried certain produces that you can pick up right then and there. They pretty much have everything for your Saturday or Sunday family carne asada .The staff inside were really nice and welcoming. One of the lady's over the counter was really sweet. I appreciate her explaining what meats they have. Overall the quality of the meats were very good. Pricing is fair and the location is convenient. Hopefully more IE locals get to try our new favorite Carnicería out soon”

“090/2024 Although I come here sometimes at this Colton location I haven't really wrote a review . Today was an exceptionally exceptional trip to the store. I had a firsthand experience by being welcomed with a free sample of tortilla chips and salsa. Store always clean and merchandise are neatly stocked on shelves. I came at this particular branch for their sale of BARILLA pasta for 4 for $5. On the shelf were only 2 boxes so I was looking for someone to help just when a gentleman in a nice white shirt with necktie came out from one of the check out stand. I think he sensed that I have a question, he was very approachable so I asked him if they had maybe more of the pasta that I needed and he immediately took one of the box and came back with a big box and had 16 in them ! Thanked him so much for his help! I didn't get to see his name tag but saw his poster when I exited, nice job as an outstanding Manager ..thanks again Mr. Garcia! There were more checkout stands open than customers which is so amazing that I was done as quick as I got helped ..”

“I really love this store. Although I do wish they had the sushi guys there,the fact that every employee that works there is absolutely amazing, helpful,and personable makes up for it. The bakery has a lady that is so amazing she should own her own shop!I highly recommend getting your cakes here! “Since the new owners have been in place the store is a much more useful place. They are always stocked with what ever I might need for a quick stop. The place is clean and pleasant and the rebuild they did made the place worth going to. Now I don't have to run out of the canyon for some basic items as they stay well stocked and fair priced. Even the gas has become much more reasonable since they bought out the old owners. For this who complain about the attitudes, I have no problems with them. They are welcoming and happy to see you in their own way! They come from a different culture and what some might think of as rudeness is just the culture they come from. All in all they make me feel welcome, have what I need when I go there and keep their pricing competitive with other stores.”

I have a closer one to my house but I rather drive a little farther because this store is always clean and the employees are so nice from the meat department to cashier and especially the Manager I think his name is Brian. “I was in and out, but noticed the 15 items or less items line had people with a bunch of items, but definitely more than 15 items. I got a couple bags of ice and some ice cream found that pretty quick. The parking sucked. All the handicap parking was full had to wait. Everything is pretty cheap here I like that a lot.”

They know my name, the father and all the son plus the cooks even know me but most important they got the biggest burritos in San Bernardino and they are pretty damn good and delicious everything they cook is authentic and you get your moneys worth also, the meat department is excellent been on there for years even the seafood highly recommend it”
